  1. Decent team. Hope Callum, Tammy are fired up in case we need to do a rescue job
  2. I will move past it. I don't even remember who played in the FA Cup final last year.
  3. Quick, good close control but is he ready for first-choice role? Signing him to rotate with Digne will be a coup for Everton
  4. Sky Sports Everton have moved ahead of at least three other Premier League clubs after bidding £18m for Real Madrid left back Sergio Reguilon. News of the offer is expected to spark a flurry of activity for the 23-year old Real academy product who was voted the best left back in La Liga last season. Reguilon played a pivotal role during a season-long loan at Sevilla, becoming a fans' favourite, helping to guide his team into fourth place and Champions League qualification. Carlo Ancelotti is keen to fill the vacancy left by Leighton Baines who retired this week - and provide competition for Lucas Digne
  5. I agree. Looking back, we should have signed a cheaper stop-gap keeper in 2018 instead of triggering Kepa's release clause
  6. What are the options in the man-mountain CB market?
  7. Frank took a long hard look at Ake and it seems like he's passed up the opportunity to sign him. I think this is fair enough if there was a WC defender we are in discussions with. If the club is spending 150 m on three attackers and is ready to spend heavily on a left-back, then the budget for a CB would at most be 30-40 million?
  8. Guardian story quoting Declan Rice asking price at 65m pounds. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/jul/29/chelsea-hope-ben-chilwell-will-request-transfer-to-lower-asking-price
  9. Same Paul Merson suggesting United to sign Harry Kane. Yawn. Some pundits have a blatant agenda LOL
  10. What is your take on the player's ability?
  11. Intriguing where Thiago ends up. Superb player and would be an upgrade for any midfield in the world
  12. Kovacic. He hardly had any horror shows. A solid 6/10 at the least and a beast 8/10 on occasion. I think his lack of goals, assists shouldn't overrule the fact that it was his dribbling that pushed opponents back in so many games.
  13. Arteta may have set up brilliantly against City and Liverpool but I think if Lampard is not naive and if he keeps our defensive shape then this is only going to end with Chelsea probing Arsenal's goal for most of the game just like the two league games this season.
  14. I mean Willian's decent but I'm not gonna look at Willian on Arsenal or Spurs lineup and think "Oh, shit it's Willian"
  15. Nicolo Schira now saying Arsenal are ahead of Chelsea
  16. Like most of the young kids, he was overhyped in the beginning as the second coming of Kaka. But he is a solid squad option to have honestly. Can fill in a number of positions, good engine for pressing and sometimes chips in with crucial passes, goals. Never got the hate on here at one point in the season.
  17. The team plays better at home without the fans!
  18. What a time to nail a FK. He has been practicing for long and had no luck on the pitch!
  19. Any difference between 3rd and 4th?
  20. Come on get the third and end this.
  21. Willian's shocker at Anfield and Hudson Odoi looking sharp off the bench in the last few games
  22. Hudson Odoi and Pulisic should start on the wings with Giroud up front
  23. Yes but with Azpilicueta for cover, that can happen at Chelsea itself.
  24. Azpi cannot be starting every game anymore because he is getting older and the full back position demands end-to-end presence, attacking quality. He should be rotated heavily and used as a squad player. Reece is good enough as a starting full-back already and is getting better Zappa anyway would be a big drop in quality
