Best Formation for current Chelsea Squad?
Drogzola replied to Blue_Legendary's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I think this thread will prove why players that are able to play either in the center of midfield or out wide are valuable. -
I think deep down we all knew it was too good to be true haha
-
Ramires broke up play countless times and tracked back hard all the time, considering the amount of games and how he plays I am surprised he still does it for 70 mins. Hazrad had a great opportunity, Mata had great opportunities, I think you being a little harsh.
-
Hope United are ready to get on the Managerial round about!!!! Lets hope they don't get sick from the unstable ride.
-
My Favorite moment was the shot Hazard hit with venom and it flew straight into Dawsons face, You could see him holding back the tears, well I like to think he was.
-
That save from Cech to push the ball onto the upright is just mind blowing. He really was in a way the biggest factor that gave us the UCL trophy
-
Did my first donation today, I feel important now

Ramires put in some great tackles today and really worked hard on defence. He was a bit sloppy with his pases but he makes up for it with energy. Oscar was poor but you can just tell he is going to be a classy player soon. Victories gained in the manner we did are invaluable as we got away with three points. Man United do it all the time.
-
Yeah but what they don't realize is Oscar has a much better defensive side to him than Coutinho.
-
Dude there is no need to start this again, its getting old with the gypsy stuff. They gone soon.
-
I know this might not go down well with a lot of you and I am no Torres Fan boy or anything but would it hurt to try start him Sunday? It might get a little confidence back starting him after his slightly more spirited performance yesterday. If he isn't working out substitute him early and pack him away in the closet forever.
-
Exactly that that guy
-
I noticed that most of these clubs that seem to have a very electric atmosphere have three or four guys conducting the crowd. I seem to remember a guy with a Megaphone starting the chants. Why don't we get a few guys together and start something similar. I don't want to call them cheerleaders but maybe some chant starters.
-
Yeah but he wins the ball often without committing fouls and I really do doubt you have half the skill he has even once you fit. Do you have the ability to skim to or three players on the break with ease like he has done countless times, like last night he broke past a player setting up Mata. I just feel a lot of you just seem to see only the bad he does and none of the good. Sorry that i quote the wrong post .
-
That is fine its your opinion. I feel he does exactly what you described we needed, you didn't say we needed someone with a perfect touch that will keep the ball at all cost.
-
I will give the Streaua fans one thing, they a fucking noisy bunch. The whistling was getting on my tits but the overall atmosphere was something we can learn from. Also if we could mix the determination their players have with ours technical abilities I think we would be formidable. It was a good game and I enjoyed it overall. Ramires?

I thought you might like to see a bit of magic from the PSL (Premier Soccer League) in South Africa. http://www.supersport.com/football/absa-premiership/video/221064 The goal is at 4:16 approximately.

The second half was good because Brentford ended up chasing the game so it became more open. We still have a lot to work on but a win it is.
-
David neads to calm down with the aggression off the ball during games. I like agression but it needs to be controlled aggression. I like the guy and I like his playing style but I dont like the dirty antics. What he did to that Brentfod youngster should have been a red.IMO. And no im not one of these guys that doesnt like contact sports.

I too was a huge Drogba fan but I found it easy for him to leave as it was the right time almost. I was really glad he hadn't moved to a Premiership side. I think the club will make the right decision in the end when it comes to our older players as they have so much more information to base their decisions on. They unfortunately didn't make the right choice in our squad depth. We have talented youngsters which could have lit up the PL but unfortunately they seem to lack something and I'm not too sure what it is. If it is that they just don't play with the passion then well that is something very difficult to read in a player before he is signed up and I doubt it can be fixed my Rafa. John Terry has loads of passion for CFC but we need it to be spread around the squad really quickly.
-
Terry will never be forgotten.
-
I guess from that point of view you are right but fans create a relationship with players and find it hard to let go, just different outlooks i guess. From the clubs perspective the quicker and sooner the better I guess. Do you not feel that Lampard still has so much to offer, maybe not in the pivot but behind the striker? If we get a good pivot Lampard could be used in a squad with the correct rotation?
-
I completely agree with your points and feel the same about his recovery speed and agility but he is still a boss in the air, even though very little of the game is played in the air these days bar maybe Stokes style of play. Just thought you spoke about him a bit harsh, maybe instead of getting rid of him we can edge him out "slowly".
-
You don't just get rid of Legends of a club, I agree with you that he is aging and not as agile but its the way you are saying it that makes you seem like you have something personal against JT. A few people called for JT to be put in against Reading for defensive structure but TBH i didnt see much defensive structure yesterday , what could be the reason for this?
-
I don't contribute much but I read loads and I feel Hutcho CFC is a great poster.
