If we are considering hypothetical situations then what will happen if say suppose we do sign Cavani and he gets injured too!!!

I doubt Danny will still stay content with a winger role as he is a natural striker.

Nah I think we shouldn't sign him and get Moses instead as we desperately need a reliable third choice striker.Getting Cavani in this transfer window and forcing Danny to play out of position or a 3rd choice striker is not the solution.

He won't get the chance to play games but its good to know that we have a dependable third choice striker and winger in the side.

Perhaps its best if we forget about this debate and just focus on the player rather than the number on his back.

Eventually someone was going to wear the number 11,so there is no need to get so dramatic.Please move on!

Oriol is a great passer of the ball and speeds up the passing from one half to the other.

Oscar has been having a terrific Olympics and I am glad we signed him up.Ill admit I was quite saddened by this move primarily because of KDB's exit on a loan move but I guess its well worth the sacrifice.

There is no way we going to sign Richards as City won't sell and if they do then it will be for a really high price.At the moment,there aren't many right back options available for us.First it was Van Der Weil from Ajax but his terrible performance in the Euros cost him a move to a top club which probably included Madrid also. Maicon was the other option and I honestly felt that he would have been a great a short term solution but unfortunately the deal never happened.Now Cesar is probably our only option and since we desperately need a right back as we can't depend upon the short temper Iva or Paulo,this deal should be completed asap.

I don't understand why we must only sign popular well known players.Moses is not a fourth division player and I am sure he can do a great job for us if given enough time and chances.

RDM fielded a strong starting 11 and there is no excuse for our pathetic 3-1 loss to Brighton.Yes,it was a pre-season game but the players should have contributed more and played for the win.Our goal came only because of a Brighton mistake otherwise things would have gone much worse.

Brighton played well and deserved the win.As for Chelsea,its was sad to know that we scored only because of a Brighton mistake.

I can't see this deal happening because it was always between Hazard OR Hulk .Now that we have Hazard,its time to move and reassure ourselves that Ramires and Marin will do a solid job for us.

I am not one of those fans who praise players when they score or play well and then completely write them off because of a bad game. Unfortunately there are these kinds of fans here and it just saddens me to read their erratic views of our players.Like I've said many times before,if you all supported Torres for 18 months then why not give Danny or any other Chelsea player for that matter, some similar support!?

Had Torres scored a similar goal,he would have been praised worth 10 pages on this thread.

Its quite to sad to know that we are ready to pay large amounts for young players outside Chelsea and willing to give them an opportunity but afraid to promote our own academy players. The large amount of money available to us is the sole reason why few youth players emerge in this club.Roman has helped this club achieve a lot and has spent a lot of money over the years but I think its time we spend less and develop our own talent.Not saying we should go on to become the next Arsenal but its sad to see the expensive young signings overshadow the talented youth players we already have.

Dont forget that they also missed out on Kalou as he was a part of the deal.Makes me realize how desperate we really were to offer so much for Luka.

no he will see out his contract as it will help him to Brazil on a free transfer.

Moses would be an ideal signing as he is great both as a winger and a striker.If Lukaku is getting loaned then for precaution,we would require a 3rd choice striker and at the same time a dependable right winger.Ramires and Marin are already there for the right winger role but having Moses wouldn't be bad either as Danny will be given the center forward role only. 9m+Josh on loan would be a great deal for both clubs.
