This is why I love this forum. I thought I was the only one crazy enough to follow each match so eagerly. Try my best not to miss a single game. I remember once watching the FA community shield game against City on my phone because there was no power at home. Luckily the laptop was fully charged that night so could charge the phone throughout the match.

well I am not stating that we did not offer an extension but since most of the people here are assuming that,I just wanted to look at the other side of the debate as well. If Frank has really said that he wasn't offered then I see no reason why he would lie, In fact it would support my argument of why he went to City in the first place.

I don't think Jose really offered him a contract extension and if that is true then part of this whole situation is our fault. Say what you want but I am pretty sure we could have used him as a squad player role this season(has the same role at City) Jose just never thought that he would move to City or any other premier league rival. I am not defending Frank here but Jose should have kept him for another season knowing very well that Frank wanted to continue playing at the top level.

If he plays well then I believe he can be a serious option. The guy just needed a run of games to find his feet but then again can not blame Jose because every game is important and not worth the risk.

One of the best premier league players this season. His performances usually get overlooked by the other great talents that we have but this guy is just an incredible defensive midfielder.
