It's not just that. We are now also a much more well rounded side as opposed to one who is solely reliant on one player like Hazard.
On top of that, we played under managers who were/are seemingly out of touch when it comes to competing in Europe. Mourinho's approach was largely just parking the bus and hope an individual did something to win the game while Conte's tactical inflexibility has led to him having a poor record in the Champions League.
That being said, Tuchel has made us play in a way that is not too different from what we used to or are seeing see under Mourinho or Conte but he's able to marry this pragmatic approach with more modern tactical tweaks and adjustments.
It's obvious but gotta say, having fans back in the stadium - even not at full capacity - is good. The celebration, the joy, the screams when that FT whistle went was so, so refreshing after the past year.
There's actually an 'Overrated Kante' thread over on Redcafe. 🤣

Our schedule is gonna be fucked up again next season. lol We played over 60 games in 2012/13, which I think was the most we've ever played in a season.
He's gonna be able to work with a few players at most, unless somehow all the big nations get KOed out of the Euros early.
At the moment, he'll have only Kepa, Mendy, Alonso, Silva, Ziyech, Pulisic and CHO to work with.
True but again the ironic thing with Werner, he is important to the way how Tuchel wants to play and that is why he has continuously been selected. The fact he also ended this season with the most assists in the team cannot be discounted either.
With improvement, some luck and maybe getting a striker to take the main goalscoring burden next season, we'll see an improved Werner.
There were also people who thought we wouldn't beat Guardiola 3 times in a row.
I believe he's lost more to us than any other side he's ever faced. 8 times now, IIRC.
