So what if Mourinho and United are 13 points behind us? It's still United and Mourinho is managing the enemy. You're getting it wrong if you think anyone is taking away or ignoring what he achieved with us over the last decade. Everyone will acknowledge at the very least that he's the most successful in our club's history. But on the other hand, because of what he's achieved with us, him going to one of our major rivals is bound to have fans turn against him in some ways. And when you consider some of the negative things he's done and said as well, he's bound to get even more heat from the fans.

If he was managing in another country right now, we would probably want him to win but because he's managing one of our main rivals now, we obviously don't want him to win and hope he fails at United. Other than that, nobody is wishing anything bad on him.

EDIT - Never mind...

Costa, Kante, Matic, Luiz each on 4 yellow cards. Brace yourself for someone getting suspended for the Crystal Palace game...

If you think we're going to win every game playing brilliant football, then you're deluded. Every team, even the very best, will have games like this, where they need a moment of individual brilliance to win tight games and on top of that, this is probably only the second time this season we've needed someone to come up with the goal to get us a narrow win. Yet, you made it sound as if we've been winning every game 1-0 with a moment of individual brilliance from someone.

Didn't play well and god, I hate West Brom! Take the 1-0 win and run!
-
I hate Tony Pulis. I hate West Brom.

If you compare with Oscar, any player would be an improvement on him. Don't get why people are so keen on Mahrez. Sure, he has some talent but right now, he's nothing more than a one season wonder. I'd suggest staying away from him until he can replicate his form last season again. Until then, we can definitely do better than Mahrez.

Apparently, the person who wrote that article on the Mirror is a City fan. Probably still bitter about last week. Let's see if the other media outlets, journalists etc pick up on it.

There is that but the main point still stands.

WHAT THE HELL?!
-
Spurs and City doing it is one thing but West Brom doing it is another. They might have a go at the beginning and since this is Tony Pulis, I doubt they would keep it going for 90 minutes. I'm sure they would also be wary of our threat going forward (you worry too much! and great...now I sound like an overconfident bastard. Thanks a lot, Pizy!).
-
City obviously but sooner or later, Arsenal will rid themselves of that bottler tag and who knows? It might be this season if we aren't careful. Even though it's normal of them to be at the top around this time of the season, it's somewhat unusual that they are dropping less points than usual. Or maybe that's just me.

I know Stones isn't exactly faultless himself but the thing is, had he joined us instead, he definitely wouldn't be playing like he is now. Throw someone like Zouma into that Guardiola side and even he would look like headless chicken.
-
This is Tony Pulis we're talking about. He'll definitely come and set up defensively and hope to pinch a goal from a set piece. I'll be very surprised if he goes on the attack. He may have done that of late but people seem to have ignored the fact that they played some average/poor sides - Burnley, Hull, Watford etc. Before that for instance, they lost to Liverpool and Man City. Our biggest challenge tomorrow is to make sure we avoid any complacency. As long as our focus is right and we switch on mentally, we'll win this. Conte certainly isn't a manager who will allow his players to rest on their laurels.
-
I swear to god...you're taking the piss with that comment!
-
FFS Pizy! You're making me more nervous with every word you say...
-
Stones would be improving a lot more had Everton sold him to us instead.

We only need a point to go top again

How naive were City? We all saw Leicester like playing on the counter last season and City went and gave them all the space in the world to do what they did last season. Of course the defending didn't help but City's overall approach was shambolic.Guardiola is naive if he thinks he can come to England and impose his style on the opposition without adapting to whoever he's facing.
