If recent history is anything to go by, I would be wary of buying players from Dortmund. Most of their star players, who did well under Klopp, and left the club for the bigger teams but a number of them failed, failed so badly that they went back to Dortmund - Kagawa, Gotze, Sahin. Only Lewandowski has done alright. Hummels appears to be going down that route too and Mkhitaryan's form at United before he got injured suggests he might shine too, while the jury is still out on Gundogan.

Did the journalist actually ask him about us or did the journalist sensationalize what he said? I know he is a cunt but it seems to me the journalist sensationalized it over this matter and he does have a point about the fixtures. Some clubs will play 2 games in 3 days and some play 2 in 4/5 days. We got the latter, so we aren't complaining but had we got the short end of the stick, we would be fuming right now.

I don't think Conte is afraid to change from 3-4-3 if he needs to. The only issue is whether he has the options to do so. He could certainly do with getting the players he wants to allow him to be flexible.

Should get Fabregas to give Sanchez a call and relay his own Arsenal experience.

It will definitely show whether we have a good squad depth and the lack of good options might actually force the club to back Conte in the January transfer window.

The fixtures in the Premier League don't work the same way like in the other leagues (e.g Team A in Matchweek 1 and 20, Team B in Matchweek 2 and 21). It's more scattered in England and the reverse fixture for one of the near year end fixtures tend to get played just a few weeks after the first meeting.

Tomo, it's an insult to put us in the same bracket as Arsenal. Obviously, we aren't just going to be content with a top 4 finish but given what's happened, a top 4 finish for this season would be a massive achievement. Yes, expectations change throughout the season but again, given the mess we were in, think you can understand the cautious mindset, if you like, over our chances of winning the title and our squad isn't the strongest beyond the starting XI right now. Hence, I'm not sure if it'll be a huge disappointment if we don't win the title. Sure, I want to win the title just as badly as you and everyone else but we're only 6 points and not 16 points clear. Things could change drastically in the remaining games, just like how we suddenly started and went on this winning run. I mean for all we know, we could be trailing to someone else (touch wood) after January.
