Why Pedro has been on the bench of late? Today showed he's our 2nd/3rd best attacking player - not that our attacking options are great, mind. Scored a bloody great goal and put in a nice ball for Batshuayi to score. Work rate was also good. Gave us urgency in the final third.

Appreciate that Morata willing to put himself about and don't want to criticize him too much since he just came back from injury and is still new to the league etc but could really do with him getting stronger on the ball and not do any of the silly stuff that Costa used to do - getting into the little tussles, looking more interested to win fouls etc. Should focus on what he does best. On a side note, wonder what is he thinking about the "nonsense" quality he's seeing at the club. Played with some of the best players at Real Madrid and Juventus and then there are a whole of bunch of duds here.

Only a 15-minute cameo (or whatever it was) but fair play. Made a difference when he came on and caused Watford problems in the final third.

It's a battle to see who will be the worst of the two.

Think City will be too much for us to catch but if we can finish second and ahead of United, that will be a good achievement for this season.

Get what you're saying but think you're overstating there a little. We may have sacked lots of managers down the years but many, if not all, have gotten lots of time to turn things around. Scolari was sacked in February. So was AVB. And hell, even with the Mourinho meltdown in 2015/16, we waited until December to sack him even though the bad signs were already obvious before that.

The win will paper over the cracks but we really needed that. The performance was mixed to say the very least. Thought we did okay in the first half - looked threatening in attack and did well enough to repel most of the attacks. Game could have been over had Fabregas taken THAT chance. The second half was rubbish it has to be said. Think we had only 1 shot up till the last 15 minutes or so. Thank god Watford missed those sitters and god knows why they decided to take their foot off the pedal at 2-2. We were there for the taking. But whatever. We'll take it.

Do people actually think he has a chance of getting ahead of Ronaldo, Messi or Neymar for the Ballon d'Or even if he's playing for Madrid? Sure, his performances might improve with better players around him but we all know that award is pretty much judged based on the number of goals these days. Do you think Hazard would have scored enough to even get into the conversation? Highly doubt it.

Hope so! Don't see any other reason why his form has just dropped off. Think he has played every game this season bar the one against Forest. Some major rotation needed against Everton next week.

You are right. With Mourinho, we get more assurance against the big teams - like making sure we will get at least a draw - while we don't get that under Conte. But on the other hand, you know with Mourinho, we wouldn't have seen some of the performances/results we saw under Conte - thrashing of United, double over City, win at Spurs or that dominant win at Atletico. Conte is more hit-and-miss but at least we'll be a tad more positive in our approach than just setting up to play for a draw.

Wait...are people really blaming Conte for letting Costa leave? Are people are going to pretend like Costa hadn't been wanting to go back to Atletico or went AWOL after January this year?

Valid point but the novelty of taking responsibility can only work for so long. Gotta see the changes or improvement out on the pitch. We would probably have to revamp half of the squad to do that and is the board willing to spend 150-200 million for that to happen? I doubt it.

Think Courtois would have saved Kolarov's goal had the shot not taken a slight deflection off Christensen.

If we hire Ancelotti again, we can forget about winning the league in the coming seasons.
