Starting to agree with @Henrique...already struggling this season and Conte seems keen to make it worse by spreading negative vibes with 'strange' comments every time he speaks. Can't he for once just try not to moan about the bad stuff to the press?!

1. Think if given the chance, Conte would have wanted Terry to stay but he clearly still wants to play and is not going to get that here. Had to leave. 2. Conte may be at fault - to an extent - on his handling of Costa but it's been said many times, let's not pretend Costa hadn't downed tools since January and given his erratic contribution/behavior ever since, you can't blame Conte for saying 'enough is enough' with him. 4. Selling Costa and Matic would have been fine had we bought well but the poor recruitment only really compounded those outgoings.

Oh. Another thing they always say to make Willian look good is that he was our Player of the Year in 2015/16.

More performances like last night and you start to wonder about those London comments etc. Morata is a good striker but is he really the right type? Is he really the striker that we need? Have said it many times before, this team is built to have a physical striker leading the striker. In fact, it needs one and we have always needed one for the past decade. Do agree that Morata needs to do better with his hold up play and be stronger on the ball but at the same time, it feels like we're asking to become a different type of striker, to be another Drogba/Costa, one where his qualities do not suit it at all.

Going by our recent performances, we'll be lucky to even pick a point from this game, never mind all three. Said it in the Roma match thread, Mourinho/United do not have to go for the jugular here. All they have to do is wait for us to press self destruct button and then pounce, like Roma did last night.

At this point, it feels like we're just clutching at straws. Maybe Fabregas is starting to go over the hill, if not already.

Scary thing about this result and performance is that I'm not even overly pissed. Slightly yes but it feels like it has become something of a norm for us to play as badly as we did and lose in such games. Somebody needs to answer why whenever we have lost under Conte, we always lost badly? Always played like a clueless team, a team devoid of any spark, desire, determination. Only defeat which we didn't deserve was the Palace home game last season. Otherwise, every other defeat has been pathetic one way or another - Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Burnley, United in the league, Arsenal in FA Cup, Roma in the Champions League etc.

I know we have had injuries and suspensions and I know that we have been playing every 3-4 days and will continue to do so at least until January. But could Conte try to play a consistent backline for 2 consecutive matches at the very least? We're seeing a different back 5 every match and all this constant chopping and changing isn't helping the team defensively. I mean suddenly we see Cahill at RCB today with Rudiger at LCB, like WTH?! No chance for the players to get familiar with one another - especially when Rudiger/Christensen/Zappacosta is/are in - and forge an understanding with one another. With all the nonsense that's going on further forward, the least you should want is stability at the back. We are struggling for goals at the moment and can't win games if the defence continues to give stupid goals away with stupid defending.

Honestly, what does Fabregas even provide these days? Could make excuses for his defensive flaws with his quality passing previously but even that has gone out of the window. Plays bad pass after bad pass unless the opposition plays like a bunch of headless chickens.

Mourinho will be laughing when he watch this game. Roma didn't even need to be at their best. We made the mistakes and they punished us emphatically. He'll just have to wait for us to self implode and win on Sunday.

If we are honest, we went AWOL the second he suffered that challenge. We're truly Hazard FC.

That turned out to be a spineless performance in the end. Thought we were OKAY in the first half - created some chances which we should have scored but undone by a great goal and stupid blunder. Can live with that to an extent but the second half performance was just trash. Where was the desire? Where was the urgency? Where was the interest in trying to get back into the game? It looked as if we had given up after HT. Another result/performance like this on Sunday and you start to worry for Conte etc.

Saved by Qarabag once again. 1-1 at Atletico. Win at Qarabag next and we're through.
