  1. It's still a hilarious result that they can't even beat an inexperience Villa side whom we disposed comfortably last week apart from conceding those two goals parts. Adding to that, Kenny 'Deluded' Dalglish went on talking about refereeing decisions after the game rather than focussing on his team's failures again.
  2. IIRC, think he was doing fine earlier this season but then ran out of form. If we're gonna get a Spanish striker, what about Soldado??
  3. Pricks like Tony Gale would be in the opposite end. Gonna kill myself if he's commentating on Monday's game, again!
  4. Seriously hope he'll be given a chance in the first team next season and not being sent out one of those "fail" loans.
  5. Wouldn't include the English media in that. They are already jumping into the Barcelona bandwagon.
  6. Precisely! But it's just not Chelsea. Anyone who does that apart from Man United, it's down to luck.
  7. Looks like the argument have already started. Won't be long before the Barca fans pop up in this forum.
  8. Judging by some of the match reports out there, seems that the media are REALLY in bitter mood that we won and seemingly putting down our wins under RDM due to the luck we've been getting...
  9. Guess we want to convert him into a winger, don't we??
  10. But what was RDM doing playing him on the RW or was I seeing things??!!!
  11. Yup. He did very well in his PL start. On today's evidence, he certainly put in better crosses than Cole! And speaking of crosses, not sure if anyone notices this but Cole seem to specialize in drilling low crosses into the penalty box but with Bertrand, he can put in high accurate crosses into the box. Can we mould them together or something?!
  12. I fear Clint Dempsey. Plus, our record in London derbies this season is just poor, really poor! EDIT: The London Derby Mini League: 1. Fulham - P6 W3 D2 L1 = 11 pts 2. Tottenham - P6 W3 D2 L1 = 11 pts 3. Arsenal - P7 W3 D1 L3 = 10 pts 4. QPR - P6 W2 D0 L4 = 6 pts 5. Chelsea - P5 W0 D3 L2 = 3 pts
  13. But remember, Barcelona did not even have any real chance whatsoever to score. It only took a special goal for them to get through. Even if Drogba was still playing, we'll still be defending and waiting to pounce on the counter. Also, putting that f***ing Ovrebo crap aside, lets not forget that we had plenty of 1-on-1 chances on the counter that night but failed to convert any of them!
  14. Not sure if I'm gonna believe all of this. The media are probably just trying to stir things up ahead of the SF clash after what happened 3 years ago.
  15. IF Iniesta had not scored that goal, you wouldn't have sat down and said that. Just so happened that it was decided by a fine margin.
  16. Are you John Cena in disguise? But I agree with you. We gotta drop all this nonsense revenge thingy because if we get to carried away with this, we could easily get thrashed by Barcelona before you know it. And that is strong possibility if the players especially don't get their heads and mindset right. Forget what happened in the past. Just focus on this upcoming clash.
  17. Just a couple of stats on Mata: Worth remembering that we've still got at least 9 games left to play while City only have 7 left.
  18. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/report?id=318180&cc=4716 Whoever wrote that match report must be in real bitter mood that we won!!
  19. Not too sure about that. He was pretty much standing in the normal GK's central position. Diame hit his shot with pace and power and doubt Cech would have been able to save it anyway.
  20. Was Mata actually offside for his goal??
  21. This was a repeat of the game vs Wigan under Hiddink...
  22. TBF, he deserves to feel pissed about it. He's been screwed twice now already at the Bridge for two straight seasons.
  23. Poor performance? Yes. But I couldn't be bothered with it. It's been the story of our season and becoming a norm already. Getting that 3 points is all that matters at this stage of the season. Will just move on and look forward to Fulham.
  24. Performances like this have become all too familiar.
