Yes but as I said, they hardly focused MUCH on us. They just kept on talking about Arsenal this, Arsenal that for most part of their post-match analysis.
This. He did not affect the game much offensively as we all would have liked but he did his defensive job reasonably well, which was to mark Arteta out of the game.
The analysis on Sky after the game was just rubbish. They just kept bashing and bashing and bashing Arsenal on their poor defending, lack of leadership bla bla bla without focusing much on praising us! PISS OFF!!
Here's a couple of stats to throw after the game: 1. Chelsea have become the first team to beat Arsenal THREE times at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League. 2. Chelsea have won their first London derby AWAY from home in the Premier League since September 2010! 3. Roberto Di Matteo is still unbeaten in 3 head-to-head clashes against Arsene Wenger with West Brom & Chelsea - W2 D1. 4. Chelsea's 2-1 win over Arsenal in their 92nd London derby victory in the Premier League, just 1 behind Arsenal
Thought he was a fault for the goal but other than that, he was excellent. Marshalled the defence well and just did everything well what was asked from him.
Excellent game from the little Spanish magician once again. That break has definitely done him a world of good! It's now 2 goals and 4 assists in last 3 games already.
Excellent win. Excellent performance. Apart from a few sloppy moments, we were very much controlled and assured in the game. 16 points from 6 matches. Top of the table. 7 points clear of Arsenal already. Still unbeaten too!
That's mainly because Drogba's goal was ultimately the decisive one and can't really blame people for mentioning him the most in our CL success. Do get what you are saying though. And if we were to go by Amels and your point of team sports are always won collectively(which is true), then shouldn't you not be pointing out Cech as well?
Had Drogba not scored those goals in Munich, we wouldn't even be sitting down here and arguing who's better between Oscar, Mata and Hazard in the squad. Best to sit back, enjoy and appreciate what we have right now.
