  1. There's one slight difference between the Norwich of last season and the one this season. Paul Lambert. Under him, they pretty much took the game to every opposition with his cavalier approach. Chris Hughton's Norwich is slightly the opposite. Not so much of a defensive team but less attack minded than back then. But I do agree you. The win against Arsenal will count for nothing if we don't beat Norwich here. It will be tough regardless of their poor form so far and I'm sure, just like in the case of every lesser sides do after getting thrashed the week before, Norwich will look to keep things tight and make life very difficult for us.
  2. Speaking of that, Madrid are trailing Deportivo after just 20 minutes in. Losing 1-0 at the moment.
  3. Lukaku had 2-3 chances but his first touch let him down at times. Overall, a good game that and think the draw is a fair one for both teams.
  4. No Lukaku today for West Brom as he starts on the bench. Shane Long takes his place upfront for the Baggies.
  5. Don't think we can underestimate them at all and rest our players that much. Qualify and possibly win the group early and then rest them in the last game or something. We do not want what happened to us last season and under Scolari to happen again.
  6. Yes but strikers like Drogba didn't exactly hit the ground running immediately either when he arrived in England despite banging in a few goals here and there.
  7. Chris Hughton could be the one if results don't improve for Norwich soon.
  8. Should be. The 'Champions of Europe' is playing after all.

  10. Once again, thought he did alright in the double pivot yesterday. Still skeptical but his energy, pace and workrate is extremely useful there especially when we get caught out on the break or he happens to find himself out of position. His passing can still improve though.
  11. Have to thank Arsenal's poor defending (again) on set pieces.
  12. More rabona skill from Hazard again. He really REALLY loves doing it, doesn't he?
  13. Lets not get too carried away here. Don't think RDM will risk by starting him when he just recovered from his injury. If he gets injured and out for a long period, we'll be in big big trouble!
  14. Can't quite understand the stick Giroud is getting. He has shown great movement upfront and offers a decent physical presence upfront. Only problem with him right now is his finishing and composure in front of goal. He will start to bang in the goals but may take awhile more for that to happen.
  15. As mentioned yesterday, last time Spurs beat United at Old Trafford, a team from Merseyside won the league title. History to repeat itself again?

  17. QPR bottom of the table. They face West Ham at Loftus Road on Monday.
  18. If anyone is wondering why I used that picture above, it's because that was the last time we played in Denmark, back in 2011. And IIRC, Nordsjaelland will be playing their CL games in Copenhagen's Parken Stadium, which was the venue we last played at in Denmark. On the match, this is a must win after the slip up at home to Juventus previously and not to mention we have back-to-back games against Shakhtar on Matchday 3 and 4 next.

  21. Previous time time Tottenham won at Old Trafford(1989), a team from Merseyside won the league title and Spurs finish in 3rd, above Arsenal and Chelsea.
  22. http://www.redcafe.net/f6/saf-losing-plot-359727/ That is rather hilarious even though there might be 1-2 cause for concern.
  23. Some of the players have some knocks and bruises according to RDM in his post-match BBC interview. Said they will assess them tomorrow.
