Even if he can play in CM, he's still primarily a RB and specializes at that! If we are to purchase a CM, best to get one who specializes in that area.

The one thing I don't really understand is why Debuchy is so adamant in joining Newcastle? They may have exciting plan going on in trying to elevate Newcastle into the next level but right now, they're nothing more than a 2nd tier club(no disrespect to them). A player of his quality should be aiming better things especially when there are other bigger clubs interested in him too. Ivanovic can play at RB if needed and Luiz can play with Cahill at CB when Terry is absent. Furthermore, we have some youngsters coming up the ranks in the RB & CB area. We might need to purchase 1-2 defenders in perhaps 2 years time but it's definitely not a priority right now. Purchasing Debuchy now is nothing more than a luxury buy. We don't need him and Azpilicueta in the squad. Given both of their age right now, they would want to play every week and constantly rotating them won't help either player or the entire back 4 as it will disrupt the understanding of the defence.

If Hazard is going through what Marin is right now, I doubt you would be saying this. Hardly his fault that he got injured and not getting many chances to play is it?! And yes, he was lucky not to sent off and made a mistake there but apart from that, where wrong has he done for people to just disregard him like that?! He may turn out to be a good signing or just an average signing but to just write him off after just 6 appearances is absolutely absurd!

That's the thing I don't get. Can possibly understand why Mata was rested given he has played the last 8-9 games without being rested. But Hazard?! He was already rested against Leeds and Norwich FHS! The problem was of course then compounded by the fact that Benitez brought on Mata with just 15 minutes left when he should have done so way earlier!

Watched it again. He didn't look offside. Was in line with the QPR defenders, at least from the high angle that I saw. The league title may be out of reach but our place in the Top 4 is by no means safe and it's not a foregone conclusion that we'll finish in there.
