  1. Classic mentality adopted at Liverpool. Never their fault, it's always someone's else. And also, funny how before beating Stoke in January, our home form was rubbish but away form was good. Since then, it has been the reverse. Home form has improved and away from home, the performance and results have gone south!
  2. Gonna be hilarious if the kit turns out to be like the Nike's design.
  3. Oh give me a break! Terry was just giving a diplomatic response about Di Canio and here you are crying that he did not give support for Benitez. Joke!
  4. That is more of hope than expectation. And you're kinda looking at those games with a blue tinted glass. Just because we dominated United this season doesn't mean we'll get the better of them again later. As for Liverpool, while you said is true there but like you also said, they are a bit of hit and miss. They could easily click on the day we play them and our record at Anfield isn't exactly great either, especially against Liverpool in recent encounters.
  5. QPR are rubbish. Wigan are unpredictable and given Arsenal are at home for that one, expecting them to win it. And yes, while we only play Villa, we still need to go to Anfield and Old Trafford.
  6. Leverkusen considering Chelsea bid for Schuerrle
  7. I know that. It's just that I'm surprised it was Roman who pushed for this particular transfer. (and yes, I am aware that he got Shevchenko and Torres!)
  8. We wouldn't even be in this situation now had we now threw away those 2-0 leads against Southamptona and Reading to begin with! Anyway, needless to say we need to win tomorrow and hope Everton get a result against Spurs. Would be good to drag them down right into this mess!
  9. Really? Didn't know that. Thanks.
  10. Lukaku starts on the bench for West Brom. Why Agent Clarke? WHY?!
  11. Judging by your comments there, it looks as if you are auditioning yourself for a position at the club..
  12. Intentional or unintentional and regardless of how long it takes to score based on your example there, as long as it is the final pass that led to a goal as defined by Opta, then it counts as an assist. Bertrand got the assist for Hazard's goal against Sparta Prague and yes, Cole claimed the assist for Torres's goal at the Camp Nou. My point is what should be counted as an assist is the one defined by Opta. It's just that some people are being selective and add winning penalties and free kicks(which a player scores directly from) to the assist count because it looks good on the player.
  13. One problem though. West Brom have been in a bit of a free fall lately. Safe from relegation and nothing else to fight for, including a EL spot.
  14. Yes, but why spend needlessly when we already have the option(s) at the club right now? Should be getting in the players for the position we need the most first before anythng else. And while the club may see something special in Schurrle, I'm also concerned of the fact the club is just buying young talents for the sake it, when we already have many at the club, and overloading them rather than actually having a proper thought on how to build a balance squad in terms of the numbers and of course the quality. We are getting latter but at the same time also creating problems in regards to the numbers. I get your point but what I said was De Bruyne can be used out wide, if needed. Otherwise, he would probably be played in the pivot. And besides, De Bruyne is much more equipped to play out wide than Oscar anyway.
  15. The general definition and consensus for an assist is: It's only like in those Fantasy Football Manager games that count winning penalties AND free kicks which lead to a goal that counts as an assist as well. And the fact some others like bigger numbers because it looks good on the player they're praising. An assist should only be those final passes that led to a goal, be it through balls, crosses or free kick/corner kick deliveries.
  16. Not sure why bother with Schurrle when De Bruyne can also play out wide if needed. We should be spending the money elsewhere on a more important priority like getting a creative midfielder and a striker!
  17. No Bale, Lennon and Defoe for Spurs for the next few games. Shame that we're not playing them next weekend!
  18. IF Arsenal beat West Brom at the Hawthorns later, they will climb above us into 4th..for 24 hours at least. Need Agent Clarke to do his job!
  19. Funny thing is his mum told Cole to grow up and yet her Twitter name is 'biebermum'...
  20. LOL! Didn't mean to imply such things and you assumed I did.
