  1. Seriously? Of all clubs we loan him to Liverpool?!
  2. Should have been over long long time ago. Hope Roman and the board get a bloody clear message of this after tonight!

  7. After Spurs away, we have Norwich (A) and Cardiff (H) before facing City at the Bridge. We then won't face any of the bigger sides till mid-December when we go to the Emirates. Have Liverpool at home after Boxing Day as well.
  8. And it's at Everton. Yikes! Should note that our next 2 PL away games are against Everton and Spurs with Fulham at home tossed in between.
  9. On paper, it looks easy but in reality, it's difficult to execute the plan to perfection. For instance, just look at how many teams that have tried that against Barca and failed miserably. Only a few teams, very few teams that have managed to keep them at bay for 90 minutes and get a result.
  10. As always, Torres still thinks he's Messi and tries to over-dribble with the ball rather than pass to a team mate when he could to continue the attack.
  11. If there is one thing that frustrates me about Hazard right now is the fact that he doesn't get to the byline enough. He's always looking to come inside and not looking to go on the outside and provide us width. We ended up always getting a congested midfield!
  12. Seems that @Ollie has totally gone carefree recently.
  13. TBF, the game plan tonight suited him. We sit deep, defended and looking to play on the break. Was never going to get exposed and same with Terry. BUT as it is, credit where it is due for the performances. Both Cahill and Terry were very solid tonight. Van Persie who?!
  14. That game was just dreadful but then again, can already expect it with all the big hype and buildup before the game. Will always end in a dull, cagey 0-0 game. It certainly did tonight though Mourinho's approach contributed towards that as well that but understandable. It's only the third game of the season, still early and we just took a point away at one of our title rivals. A point at Old Trafford isn't always disastrous. A decent point to take for a developing team. Take it and move on. Can only get better as the players play more games together.
  15. Should we really be surprised about the first half performance though? We know the pivot has got problem and it then sort of being made worse by Jose experimenting something that we have hardly ever done by playing 4 attacking midfielders or whatever you want to it. Bound to look disjointed and contributing to poor performance.
  16. It was more of a quiet performance rather than a terrible one..
  17. Some usual match stats... 1. Jose Mourinho has won 4 and drawn 2 of his 6 Premier League encounters with David Moyes. Overall in all competitions, Mourinho has a record of W5 D3 over Moyes. 2. Since Mourinho left Chelsea in 2007, David Moyes has won 3, drawn 5 and lost 4 of his Premier League matches against Chelsea. In all competitions, his record against the Blues reads P18 W3 D7 L8. 3. Jose Mourinho's record against Man United at Old Trafford (with Porto, Chelsea, Inter & Real Madrid) - P7 W3 D2 L2. 4. In the Premier League, Mourinho has won 1, drawn 1 and lost 1 of 3 matches at Old Trafford. 5. Jose Mourinho has lost only 1 of his 6 Premier League encounters against Man United - W3 D2 L1. 6. Overall in all competitions, Mourinho has record of 7 wins, 7 draws and just 2 defeats against Manchester United. 7. Both of Jose Mourinho's only defeats against Man Utd have come via headers - Fletcher v Chelsea(1-0) and Vidic + Ronaldo v Inter(2-0) at Old Trafford. 8. Only ONCE in 21 Premier League encounters between Man United & Chelsea at Old Trafford have ended 0-0, back in April 1995. 9. Chelsea have beaten Manchester United 6 times at Old Trafford in the Premier League, more than any other side - W6 D7 L8. 10. Chelsea could become the first team ever to win two Premier League games at Old Trafford in a calendar year (via Telegraph). 11. Man United's Premier League win percentage against Chelsea is 31% - their lowest figure against any team in the competition (via Premier League) 12. Juan Mata has scored 3 goals in his last 3 Premier League games against Manchester United.
  18. Oh for crying out loud! Neuer and Ribery aren't injured! There wasn't even a mention of it in their match preview vs Freiburg tomorrow - http://www.goal.com/en-gb/match/112886/sc-freiburg-vs-fc-bayern-m%C3%BCnchen/preview. Only Thiago is absent for them and Martinez apparently.
  19. Former Man United coach Rene Meulensteen on the preparation of facing us last season.. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/10263639/Manchester-United-v-Chelsea-Rene-Meulensteen-on-his-fantastic-12-years-of-doing-the-best-job-in-the-world-at-Old-Trafford.html
  20. Media trying to create something out of nothing.
  21. Erm, Mata is actually 25 years old as well. In fact, he's 4 months older than Willian. As for Moses, yes he is younger but then getting Willian is probably an upgrade on him. And how is purchasing a 25-year old player not a future investment? We can probably at least get 5-6 good years out of him and investing in the players for the future doesn't mean we do it only by getting U23 players.
  22. I'm sorry but Willian, OLD?! He just only recently turned 25 years old on 9th August!
  23. Just found that Bayern are playing tomorrow (Tuesday) away against Freiburg in the Bundesliga, just 3 days before this Super Cup match. Thought they would have like 5 days to rest and prepare for this as compared to us just having 3.
