  1. Radamel Falcao completes loan move to Manchester United in transfer worth up to £20 million for one season Colombian to earn club record £265,000 a week after Louis van Gaal approves move as City and Arsenal drop out http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/11069084/Radamel-Falcao-completes-loan-move-to-Manchester-United-in-transfer-worth-up-to-20-million-for-one-season.html
  2. Mourinho would disagree with that. He said after the game he can point out defensive mistakes for all the three goals (plus more for the moments that we didn't concede from). Yes, some of them were good goals from Everton but they could have been prevented with better organization and concentration in the defensive duties. It's just too easy for people to say we can't do anything for such goals when we can.
  3. Since this thread has deviated from its main topic and Madmax above made a decent point, just gonna rename this thread into 'Ancelotti thread' where we can discuss anything about Carletto.
  4. Locking this thread since there are only 2 notable transfers happening. Reopening the General Transfer Talk and January Transfer Window threads. Please use those and respective player threads to discuss about the transfers. 5. Think the signing of Kagawa was just to maintain the interest of the Asian market rather than because he was the player of the year in German then. IIRC, they sold Park Ji-Sung around that time.
  6. I question Steve Bruce's ability to bring out the best in these players. Not exactly the type of his players.
  7. Second "f**k her right in the pussy" tonight on SSN.
  8. Ironically, the aspects you described there are exactly what Giroud have been providing at Arsenal. He's technically good and links up well with the players and there have been so many examples of that. Welbeck may perhaps be similar but I'm not really sure if he's better than Giroud. If anything, one can say he only has better workrate and ability to take on players. Regarding Falcao, I doubt he would have been a better move. Sure, he will get the goals for Arsenal but in terms of suiting their style of play, it would probably be out of sync. He's more of a goal poacher than anything else that needs the team to be built around him as opposed to someone who is more of an all-rounder that can combine with the type of players at the club.
  9. Welbeck better than Giroud? The latter may not exactly be a world class player but he's a lot better than most people give him credit for and he's definitely better than Welbeck.
  10. TBH, Liverpool may have strengthened since the start of the transfer window but even their businesses seem to lack direction.
  11. And tragically enough, we're down to just 1 England international in the squad with the rest filled by foreign players. Almost as if we have switched position with Arsenal!
  12. Niko Krancjar has apparently been loaned to QPR from Dynamo Kiev. That's such a typical Harry Redknapp signing...
  13. Arsenal have reportedly agreed to buy Welbeck for 16m, according to BBC. And that is the same price Liverpool paid for Balotelli..
