True and we are fortunate in that aspect in some ways. Our attacks would have been so much more threatening than they are now if our RW can consistently contribute in the final third. It's one thing turning a blind eye on Willian because the others are doing great offensively but it's another when our lack of attacking threat from the right side gets exposed when the other attacking players have off days. We saw that quite a bit last season.

And Jack Colback. By the way, you said Sissoko has always played well when you watch Newcastle and so, you better not watch the game this Saturday!
-
Well, you can see why it started considering Costa was banging most of the goals at the start of the season for us but the others then slowly began to find the net as well.
-
Some of you fellas are unbelievable. We claimed a huge win, thrashed Spurs but instead of celebrating, you people are bickering about petty little things.

Newcastle have quite a few injuries to contend with and at the moment, the list looks like this: Obertan (hip/thigh injury) Santon (knee) Aarons (hamstring) Krul (ankle/foot) Coloccini (calf) Ryan Taylor (knee) Siem de Jong (groin)
-
Great to see that we haven't been over reliant on Costa and can still score goals without him, unlike some other lots...
-
No words to describe Drogba right now, just .
-
People seem to forget that Schurrle has been ill recently, which is why he hasn't been playing and even when he did, he wasn't at 100%.
-
Thought Remy did alright after he came on yesterday. Took his goal well as he showed greater determination and strength than Vertonghen to create that opportunity for himself, especially when he's not known for his physical strength. Drogba would have been proud of that.
-
Willian played like typical Willian yesterday. Worked his socks off offensively and defensively and that is something he can't really be faulted for. BUT his passing and contribution in the final third were underwhelming, something that he definitely can be faulted for. He seriously needs to improve on that because if he doesn't, then I'm not really sure how long can we persist with him being in the starting XI.

That was just like playing Arsenal. Start brightly, miss chances and then get hit by sucker punch (thrice for Spurs). Easy as ABC. On a serious note, decent performance overall after that horrendous start. Good win and still 6 points clear at the top (thanks a lot Sunderland!). Shame Matic picked up the 5th yellow card and hope Cahill and Drogba did not suffer any serious injuries.

What a stupid meme.

The Harry Kane wankfest has been incredibly annoying.

With the exception of the enforced change upfront tonight, can only see Mourinho making 1 change - the RW. Either Ramires, Schurrle or Willian will start.
-
Read somewhere before that Mourinho sometimes lets another person, be it a staff member or player, to do the team talk before a match. Nothing biggy about it really. Billy McCulloch - the masseur - gave the team talk before that game.
-
They might or they might not. One should remember that they sat back and defended most of the time when they went to Arsenal earlier this season. Spurs only pressed high up the pitch on occasions at the Emirates.

Mourinho's presser at 12.30pm UK time later..
