  1. There are still three games to go but think we have played enough to select the GOAL and MOMENT of the season. So, fire away...
  2. Atletico Madrid are our new Porto.....
  3. Wilkins does talk quite a lot of BS really. How he chose Willian over Essien or even Ballack is beyond me. And never mind that Chelsea team he selected, just take a look at his ridiculous ratings of the players this season - http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/9836668/chelsea-player-ratings-ray-wilkins-marks-champions-title-winning-season. Luis, Cuadrado, Mikel got 7/10. Ramires and Drogba 7.5. Oscar 8!
  4. I don't disagree with that but it's silly of Gullit not to understand the circumstances that led to our sub-par performances in 2015 before criticising. It's not like Mourinho decided to change the style for no good reason.

  6. The run-in of teams involved in the relegation battle. Think QPR and Burnley are goners. So, it's 5 teams fighting to avoid joining those two...

  11. It was a long season and players were running out of steam. Both managers kinda agreed to play a second-string side especially with the FA Cup final not too far away from that match.
  12. At this rate, it won't be long before Mourinho's vision of football in the future comes true. But it's been the same with Arsenal for the past 10 years really. Plenty of promise but fall at the first hurdle when there's pressure on them. Doubt it'll take much for the 'Wenger Out' brigade to turn up if/when they go on another poor run.
  13. Chelsea weighing up move for Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert as Didier Drogba replacement Right up there with the stupidest transfer rumour to ever exist.
  14. About the talk of Hazard going to Real Madrid, I do wonder if he really wants the move though when he sees what's going on with Bale. There's no doubt they are one of the biggest clubs in the world - probably the biggest - but the pressure is extremely high and the atmosphere/environment can be toxic at times. The situation with Bale is a perfect example. He scored the decisive goal last season in the Copa del Rey and Champions League finals and yet the fans immediately turned on him this term the minute something went wrong. As great as Hazard is/will be, would he want to work in this kind of environment? I'm not too sure really.
  15. Arsenal are pretty good at winning matches when there's no pressure/nothing at stake, aren't they? Not going to sit here and say they won't challenge for the title next season but it's nonsense how people keep on falling for their good performances. Every time when Arsenal don't challenge for the title and look in danger of dropping out of the top four, they'll go on a long winning run to secure Champions League football and suddenly the pundits and fans think they're good enough to challenge/win the title in the following season. And when they look like title challengers, they ultimately fall away and endure a poor end to the season. The media will then moan about their failings with the squad and the cycle will just repeat itself over and over and over again.
  16. Nail. On. Head. It amazes me how Wenger, Pellegrino, Rodgers and Van Gaal have found so many excuses for their failings this season. So many ifs and buts as to why they haven't challenged for the title. All the big teams have had problems this season and yet Mourinho is the only one who has adapted to the situation and made sure we didn't suffer badly while the others have watched their teams fall away and then they resorted to moaning/excuses.
  17. We should also not forget that Guardiola has harassed officials before - he even wanted to punch the referee in the Dortmund game recently - and then embarrassed Bayern's club doctor by sarcastically applauding him during the game because of injuries.
  18. Here. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/may/01/jose-mourinho-chelsea-diego-costa-injury
  19. Mourinho said Costa is unlikely to play again this season if we secure the title on Sunday (which we did) in last week's presser. Wants to give him all time to recover from his hamstring injury.
  20. Well, they aren't going to get first team experience if you don't give them the opportunity to show what they can do. I do think Mourinho was talking a bit of nonsense when he said the club is not the right environment for young players. Obviously we are highly competitive and want to win every trophy possible but no one is asking him to bring through 11 youth players. Integrating 1-3 players is hardly going to affect the team, is it? Man United, Barcelona, Bayern Munich have done it down the years. The amount of talented players we have now is higher than what we had previously and it would be criminal if Mourinho doesn't do it justice. I'm not going to jump the gun and expect Mourinho to promote the players just yet but can at least hope for it. There needs to be a progression in this area and pretty sure the fans along with Roman want to see that happen. But remember, there were plenty of disputes happening off the pitch with Mourinho and the board back then which led to a difficult third season. There's no sign of that happening this time around with Mourinho and the board working in unison to make sure we stay successful and progress as a club.
  21. Just following ChelseaYouth on Twitter. It's available on Chelsea TV apparently.
  22. Not expecting anything drastic given Mourinho's poor record in bringing young players through but integrating 1-2 is decent to start with. They definitely won't be starters but should get enough decent game time over the season. At least I hope they will.
  23. He's already mentioned and praised Loftus-Cheek and Solanke would probably be in line as well.
