I wouldn't say their transfer stories are reliable because some can be made up/just rumours while others can be true. But they do hold more credibility than the likes of Daily Express, Daily Star, Metro, The Sun etc. The Telegraph are one of the three reputable media outlets along with Sky Sports and Guardian in England IMO.

Mourinho has denied he gave the players 4 days off but for the sake of argument, let's just say he did give them 4 days off, why should United be upset? They are the ones in fourth and have a four-point lead over Liverpool, if they win their games, then it won't matter what Liverpool do, no? It's either they are just being silly or it's another rubbish story from the media.

Can understand that point of view but on the other hand, why must people take it for granted that just because it's Mourinho and he's at a big club, therefore it's only normal he's doing well? We have seen managers gone to big clubs before and failed miserably. Let's not also forget Fergie used to win a few Manager of the Month awards like every season. Mourinho hasn't gotten one since March 2007 and he's won only 3 in total.

That's not going to happen until he proves to be an adequate manager. He's not even setting the world alight at Schalke.

We're already heading to the US for pre-season and I doubt Mourinho will allow the team to travel to two continents and tire the players out even before the season starts.

Easy to say that. But the point is, he would still only be a squad player and not a guaranteed first choice. I doubt he would want to join a club where his involvement depends on the other striker.
