He's got a goal to game ratio of 1:2. And he's an AM, sign him up!

Hiddink will get the job. His Anzhi contract has a term that says he can quit after the first season is over if he wants. He's on £6.3m a year in that job though, so unless Roman can dig deep into his pocket (image that?!), then we won't get him.

Really? People saying we should play Mikel? NO (imo) ----------Cech---------- --Iva-JT-Cahill-Cole-- ---------Essien--------- ---Ramires-Lamps--- ----------Mata---------- ----Drogs-Studge---- Surely that's the most solid line-up we have?
-
So you think we should get rid of him?
-
Do we really have to have a new home kit next season? I can't afford the 50 quid each time I want a new one! I wish they'd go back to releasing a different kit each year, but so it's like Year 1: Home, 2: Away, 3: Third. And repeat.

That Zambian goalkeepers reaction to the penalty miss was funny but pretty cuntish!

Chelsea Sack Andre Villas-Boas

The real question is "Would you rather stick with AVB for another season and see how it pans out, or sack him and bring back José?". -

You may want to edit this a bit. I don't know about you, but Torres in CDM seems like a bad idea to me... -
Nope! Ideally I'd love to see Lukaku starting with Studge. Mata tucked in just behind them. But AVB won't abandon this 4-1-2-3 formation that clearly isn't working, so Lukaku has no chance!

I'm liking the sound of this lineup! Although with Newcastle hot on our heels, can we afford to take the risk?
-
Kalou can fuck off. Malouda can fuck off. Ferriera has served us well and I'll always appreciate the effort he put in to games.. But he can fuck off now, his time has passed.

Yep I agree, 'forced' into resigning. I say this, because Capello has been gagged from commenting on anything said in the meeting. If you quit a job, you don't have to sign anything that says you won't say anything... But they can write it if you're leaving for any other reason, i.e. sacked, redundant. I think he was booted out, signed a contract that said he would say he quit and that he won't say a word, and get's a cool couple of million out of it.

Official: Carvalho moves to Real Madrid

Please tell me more about the future -
Agreed. He'll be a real bitch in the Premier League. He'll be useless against teams like Stoke too. Hazard for me. I don't think he'll thrive in the French league like he would in the EPL... although will be very interesting to watch Gotze develop in the Bundesliga. Best place for him IMO.

Fun and games at the training ground

Torres looks like he wants to batter JT at the start hahaha! -
The away and third kits are horrendous. The white lines over the home kit look really out of place and the swirly bit is a weird choice. So what I'm saying is the only nice part of this kit is the colour This is my favourite away/third kit we've ever had:

Fernando Torres spending more time cross-dressing than training?

I hadn't seen it, gimmie a chance I'm new here. -
As previously mentioned, what JT said wasn't racist. It wasn't the best thing he could have said, but it should be treated as if he said "f*ck off anton". I'll stand by him because he's being misrepresented by the media as a racist. In 2009 El Hadji Diouf said "F*ck off white boy" to an Everton ball-boy, and yet he got off pretty much scott free (a fine doesn't really count as punishment). These are double stands shown by the FA and it's bigger news for the media if the England captain has done something wrong than a foreign player. As for him sleeping with Wayne Bridge's missus. Who the hell cares?! He was Bridge's ex by then anyway and I don't support the club because of the amount of role models that play for them. I support Chelsea because of the great football, fantastic history and passion shown by each player ON THE PITCH.

Welcome! I've just joined too. I found a good way to start is by putting out a post on your general thoughts about the club.

Who would your five in midfield be?
-
Can you imagine if a Shevchenko and Crespo partnership would have worked? *drooool*
-
THREE?! We'd be ripped to shreds, plus that means Ash & Bozzy can't make any runs. No way would we work with three at the back. The best formation we've got is 4-1-2-1-2. But the 2 up front is up for debate. I'd have Studge & Lukaku for the rest of the season.

We don't have a lot of luck with skillfull strikers. Our most succesfull strikers in the last 10 years have been Drogba, Anelka, Gudjohnsen and Hasselbaink. None of these players were known for being able to tear a defence apart with skills. They could all finish and all work best as a part of a strike force, not as a single target man. When AVB decides to buy, he needs to be thinking of buying players who work well in a partnership, rather than on their lonesome.
