  1. It's all about the price, surprised he signed a new deal recently
  2. Feel sorry for him impressed every time I've seen him and actually the last two games seems to have added really decent passing to his game forward thinking wise. Doubt Jose will start him as he's been out for a while now.
  3. We have OK bench players at the moment, we need a step up from 'OK' - Lavezzi is probably one of the most frustrating players to watch.
  4. Not a dig at Eden and Eden obviously has a ridiculously more tailor to his game than Willian but Eden often does this too. Different players with different expecations just making a small point to a constant dig at a player that is vital to the way we play.
  5. Sigh, let me just post on my twitter that I'll give £1000 to everyone that RT's that I'm going to win the ballon dor next year. I don't have twitter.
  6. Indeed, Steve always did his best for us nothing against those squad players
  7. Not sure how we are linked with him but in the daily express as such. Us, Spurs. Out of contract in the summer, don't see how this benefits us really aside from the freebie if wages are low enough with Drogba retired, not really our sort of striker.
  8. Young lad, all the attributes there as I've said before Good TankSpeedPositioning alot betterImprovements Telegraph his passing lessBacking off (Cahill is guilty of this too, perhaps its something they are told to do than risk a foul so close?)Most impressive about Zouma? Attitude. Keep it up.
  9. OK starting to feel sorry for him now, called it when Jose was rumoured that he would be a casualty and hardly anyone listened because he was just magic, which was true but not a jose player by a mile. He just doesn't look to fit into United, shoe horned in when in fact if they played him where Rooney is for consecutive games with Carrick back I think he would do much better. United have always had classy wingers and now they seem to be cramming everyone into the centre of the pitch then relying on sub par players converted into wing backs. Back to valencia I think
  10. Do not rate. Attributes were there and foundations for sure but the attitude is required to really kick on and as I said before listened too much to Martinez and match of the day saying he was a world beater what are Chelsea doing blah blah blah Looked like a deer in headlights playing for us but if he had bided his time like Remy is doing who knows. Other players have made improvements that are way less talented.
  11. I don't doubt that neuer is number one but his style of play is like lloris , it will catch up to him the older he gets I reckon. Nothing wrong with number two in the world mind, at his age.
  12. As if the blame can be shifted onto the gk for us conceding 5 goals. Rarely do you concede that many and it's all the keepers fault there is something wrong as a team, and there was. A much needed kick up the back side. Cech is a great keeper and actually thibaut being number one has spurred him on because his performances have been great however didn't we always worry about crosses? His one vs one or shot shopping was never in question Hope we keep him beyond the summer I know that's selfish but having them both is just delightful.
  13. Few years ago yes, now? My my, as above, he looks shot and just trying to milk whatever wage(s) he can.
  14. Prem proven Not cl tied Suits their style more than jovetic and dzeko currently
  15. What world cup were people watching.. Same schurrle
  16. I'd rather keep him on as player coach, just Incase. He proved me wrong this season for sure, still got it.
  17. Its one thing to perform well for Basel in the Swiss league and some CL/Europa games. Nothing against Mo I just wish we had Kevin as another option thats all, its a shame, said it at the time we sold him but £ couldnt turn it down.
  18. I actually feel, and have felt for years, that the loan system is totally broken.. As a club you cannot just farm someone out, you almost need a minder or a department focused to that individual, how many times have we seen or read players, youngsters, former and current saying "Yeah I'm in contact with Chelsea every few weeks" "Not heard from the club for a while but I just got to get my head down and work hard" or you might say "Well player development department duh?" "They have people assigned to this" Well clearly not enough. I think to be a success or to be clearly judged it shouldnt all weigh on the shoulders of an 18 year old lad or younger/slightly older. I know for sure at that age only a few things were on my mind let alone earning £10k a week or £5k a week at the same time. I can bet alot that we all wish we could go back to when we played football as a youngster and try that little bit harder, I know I do - I suspect many youngsters/loanees feel the same, a big chance missed - (Hi Josh!!) If your loaning a talent out, you should be in contact almost on a day to day basis, management wise, man management, training management, not every other week watching tapes of reserve games or match games.
  19. Cracks me up that people use Pogba as The example for youth players not being given a chance or xyz can be the new Pogba etc. Just because he is part of a 0.0001% minority that leave a top club, goto a sub par division and shine. It's more the attachment to the name Juventus than anything. Do I think he's a good player? Yes. Class? Flashes. Is his name more in the spot light because he plays for the name Juventus in what is considered a subpar league? Imo, yes. It's impossible to denote what coaches see day in day out sitting behind a keyboard, unfortunately. Sometimes coaches get it wrong, wrong time/place for the player, players attitude, all sorts of factors. If we had a super super super talent then there would be more of an outcry than a few forum posts. That's not me saying we do not have talented youngsters, we do, however we do not see day to day. If we had good enough youngsters, now, they'd be apart of things especially winger wise but the team and way we play requires such discipline and tactical awareness that international players are having trouble keeping up. But how will we know unless we give them a chance!? If they are good enough they will get their chance in training, in a match or on loan which requires a very astute head on a young mans shoulders but also the right coach, do I feel sorry for Nathan? No, if you cannot get into the burnley team under Sean who values workrate and spirit then there is something wrong.
