A real shame, great player, played whenever and where ever needed. I read the club advised him to reduce the mass on his legs because it would impact him later on in his career with regards to becoming more injury prone. Serious knee injuries followed. Real shame.

JWP is actually a very good player, I had no clue who he was until I saw a video on his 'how to' on a set piece because he was lauded for his delivery etc, since then I kept an eye but can't say he'd be ready for a top 4 club, at the perfect club tbh.

If we are signing him then it means the Reus deal is dead etc. otherwise I would of expected the club to tie that up. Shame about the price tag to be fair however if we sell Salah + Schurrle then its even money I would assume.
