Dave @ RWB is absolutely awful.
-
The onus becomes on the full backs now to deliver and unfortunately we have Dave/Alonso.
-
Thing is, based on preseason, we'd all pick bats to start, unfortunately he's so hot and cold. When he has a chip on his shoulder he's good, when he's in instagram mode he's awful.

I wouldn't be happy if i was a Spurs fan at that interview but even if I was, could any Spurs fan really argue with that? That is genuinely one of the most refreshing interviews I've read in a long time from a player. Certainly knows what he wants and with that attitude under someone like Conte could only flourish - That said, Spurs won't sell to us and would rather sell to United if anywhere. I'd take him in a heart beat for anything around £45m - English, 27 years old and a realistic price tag.
-
Calling it now, if he joins he will be brilliant for us.
-
£35m + £5m in addons I read on Dailyfail. If so, glad we held them to the knife on the price...... Jesus, I'd love to negotiate at Chelsea for a payrise.
-
What. Herrera is their best midfielder. Matic will give them what Jose wants, an anchor and safety net for Pogba to go forward and Herrera can continue breaking up play/distributing.
-
Does make me laugh though that there is one market for us and another for everybody else but we seem to cave in almost every time when its to do with our players. Should have held out for £50m, in this wild transfer market.
-
Was he world class? On his day, yes (Too far between). Was I completely frustrated with him some games? Yes. Did I want him going to a direct rival considering thats the position they desperately need to cover? Absolutely not, this is a completely mindless move from Chelsea. What a midfield United have now.
-
Have to say, we look absolutely awful, slow, lethargic, struggling to sprint. Play a £58m striker on the wing, not ideal. Subpar.
-
Sub Fabregas, looks shattered.
-
Our positional awareness and just awareness in general when another team breaks is genuinely worrying, we just back off, let players run off us.
-
I couldn't blame Conte if he walked away now.
-
I can take losing, I can. What I can't take is playing this way and being second to every ball, not being able to pass 5 yards. Those players should hang their heads in shame. Disgusted and feel sorry for the fans that have spent a boat load on a day to Wembley, off on holiday boys, enjoy it.
-
Agreed! Good move by Conte making him captain also, him and Luiz have really stepped up their game and like a post slightly above, 3 at the back helps hide some players deficiencies.
-
He really does remind me of Essien, so glad for him to get on the score sheet, Hazard called it btw, last week in the interview at Leicester!!
-
Good to see him blaming his players already and also them looking devoid of any tactical offensive play, carbon copy almost of us. Also, Pogba flinging his arms around moaning at every misplaced pass or everytime he's tackled is great to see.
-
Considering Dyche commented on Conte being a dinosaur in terms of management prior to the game..
-
To be honest I never expected him to be so professional and I hope he stays that way as with a 3-5-2 or whatever you want to call it I think he absolutely thrives.. Hopefully he's waiting for that..? Thought we could of done with him coming on earlier yesterday.

Last season we were totally devoid of anything offensively, it was well documented that the focus was on being organised/defensive tactics and the 'flair'/attacking players were left to it.. How many times did we get to the edge of the box last season then go back? Or not accelerate into the box or play the forward pass? Or even give the opposition time to regroup because the transitions took too long between midfield.. Things are coming along nicely and at the start of the season I said I'd be happy with 4th with seeing progression on how we play/players attitudes toward a manager that is very demanding in a different way to Jose. Easy to say now Jose is gone, we all drank the coolade, or most of us but you never go back to an ex, or if you do, normally its until you quickly realize why you gtfo in the first place. Looking forward to Liverpool, feel like this game will show us where we are/how far we need to go this season to challenge a team that I think will be there or there-abouts for 4th.

About 10 seconds away from seeing that bottom lip quiver.. Wouldn't be shocked if I see 'FA to investigate....' later today but he's completely right.
-
Sad thing is that PSG were there for the taking, same as the Away leg. Shocks me that our players didn't quite seem to realise the urgency and let PSG play with the ball wasting time etc. Referee aside, poor attitude, I saw like 6-7 times we pressured as a team and nigh on everytime PSG lost the ball which resulted in a very dangerous counter attack.. Even if Diego's head was glued to looking downward, warrior still.
-
Surprising how weak Ruben is for his frame, gets pushed off the ball so easy. ANNNDD 1-1, warning signs were there, cheers Thibaut, good effort, another goal conceded thats down to him.
-
What a shock, Remy is offside.
-
Pato, first.
