Deservedly lost today, none of us ever said we were title contenders and this proves it. Enzo needs to take this opportunity to rip into the dressing room and reset expectations on performances.
-
How is Enzo still on corners, he is absolutely awful on delivery. Hasn't hit one today.
-
Exactly this including Enzo. Everyone has been dire today.
-
I'm sure the decision was made his side pretty suddenly over the last few months, behind her back.
-
Who does he dislodge? Everything is risk vs reward of course, do we keep him here, learn under Enzo directly and play here and there, perhaps not at all or could we jig around premier league loand and get him to Fulham or Bournemouth. Not discounting his ability and our increased schedule/competition next year we lose that KDH type of match ( late midweeks). Tricky one, I really did rate KDH prior, still do, it's tough as it's just peaking to half a season and he is the one, oddly, that gets into the box on the late run, what Enzo is asking for. Most of the time feels like he's trying way too hard to impress, understandably, but I don't think it's a player we dump, or loan.
-
He was a good player at Leicester, no reason we should cash in unless we are expecting other solid incomings, for me Santos goes on loan again but not to Ligue 1. One player I do feel for is Carney, tons of ability, injuries and seemingly no chance back in. Due to player or club? Typically I always want to lean toward it being the player when we've had a strong manager ie. Enzo calling out Noni.

Apparently it's available over the counter and included in aspirin.

Support him through this. Reap the reward. The club after all have, rumoured, to be fully behind him for the next 2 years as they believe he's overwhelming talented, which we all can agree on. Now does that talent translate onto the pitch? Right now, no. He is best placed at our current environment to learn, sadly he cannot train there but I'm hoping it means that he can still have some kind of relationship with Enzo and the lads.
-
First I've seen reported that he loves the night life in London and that's another reason he's struggled to adapt.. What. Never read that before or seen it. I'm sure the media jump on anything and everything.
-
Mutu we did I believe but there is for sure a player in there, nobody wants a Salah repeat. Deserves our support, Mutu case was handled terribly I might add. We ended up getting compensation in the end but Misha is a young man, on a long long contract, use this time to train, learn the game and come back.
-
Likely a play by the club to not have him on the field if he goes with the contaminated substance to get 'time served' type thing. The only thing that annoys me is the £88m plastered everywhere, the lad was £62m. He is a young man, do his ban, loan him for a season to get minutes, see what's what, not going to go in on him, he's a Chelsea player.
-
My bad, should have clarified, would you guys trade Noni for Bowen? Irrespective of transfer fee etc. I find people either really really rate Bowen or they think he's trash.
-
At the end of the day its what the sporting directors are paid for, if they cannot identify our glaring weaknesses then whatever superficial title charge we're on will be over pretty quickly.
-
Not saying West Ham would do that, I'm asking the members here if they would? I'd consider him an upgrade, a very 'Neto' player.
-
For someone that had issues adjusting to life in London, by his own admission, I doubt he'd go off to Spain, and in general, doesn't seem the type like Hazard who from day dot said "Real Madrid is the dream"
-
Would anyone swap Noni for Bowen?
-
Very odd, I don't feel like we are in one, we simply aren't ready, gathering momentum and pressure will do nothing except solidify 'billionaire bottle jobs' for the second time.
-
I think he's exceeded everyone's expectations, perhaps even his own, he gave an interview about speaking with Carlo and he took some advice on the high line for example. What cannot be questioned is his work ethic, alongside his team, he gives them credit where its due as well.
-
Holy. I'd say I'm surprised but he just does not do well under pressure, he's made some big saves in the last few weeks but also some absolute catastrophic mistakes including shots he should save, Dejan's shot yesterday should never have gone in. Let alone the passing under pressure or even NOT under pressure, lobbing it out for a throw in yesterday. I imagine if Filip doesn't make a hash against Astana then I could see him starting the next game.

Of course I have a paid subscription to watch football, I do not stream from the links not provided on this forum. Hmm.
-
It really is mad how they don't check people like Carragher who just have the most blatant agenda, as we all would in his place, but at least give it a nudge in the ear piece to settle down.
-
It's unprofessional behaviour, I wouldn't go that far to sell him, he's one of our most improved player. I bet it doesn't happen again though.
-
Jesus Christ, Ange is actually incapable of making any changes what so ever, injuries aside, that is actually crazy how inept he seems to be once the game starts.
-
Yikes, Dejan, yellow.
-
Got away with that one, yellow all day if not a red.
