How we are 2 weeks into Jan almost without the signings is mine boggling, leave it till the last minute and the weakest possible negotiating position. Sanchez has been woeful tonight, Josh gets beaten for the shot but near post like that, granted it's tonked but still, distribution shambolic as usual.

Didier level hold up play, well done Nico.
-
Isak putting on a CF clinic.

Read it and came directly here with the worst look on my face ha. What a weird signing, I do not rate him at all. Had enough of listening to Gary Neville hype him up month after month, yawn!
-
Makes total sense, why start at what the 'media' rate him, read anywhere between £55-70m. I would be disappointed if we signed him for more than £60m, even the face I've pulled typing that figure out is enough for me to be firmly on the fence about him. Everytime he is in the media to be hyped up, I watch the next Palace game and he's terrible, granted not every game is stellar but I personally haven't seen enough to say he's worth the spend, I genuinely would rather bring Trev back to be coached properly.
-
Id like to say that one of those matches we've fluffed were a needed wake up call but nothing has changed what so ever. We also should have had a penalty but the team looks so lost right now.
-
Absolute howler from Brentfords keeper there
-
Read a tweet saying that they will consider Enzo targets as long as they are u24, whether it's true, shrug.
-
I fear our under 24 policy is going to cap us at the knees for this season until someone realises it's not a bad thing to have experience in the squad. We really miss This go in that respect, slowly we've bled those types of players out over the years. I understand the model wants Enzo to coach coach coach but Enzo is still learning himself.
-
That team had national captains or highly experienced individuals littered through the squad, what a few years that was. Think that's why I enjoy the podcast era so much now with Obi etc because you start to get the stories and what each person was like whereas we as fans only know their media trained interview/on pitch persona.
-
Would bring Sancho on rather than Neto due to their block. Noni got to go and Palmer needs to be more central with Enzo late runs. Sub RB position, anyone, I'll pop some shorts on if I have to.
-
He looks so worryingly off the pace, plus the seeming lack of explosive ability, doesn't bode well. Such a difference from his RB days, I can see him going in Jan.
-
Time to wake up chaps.
-
Wow, big decision there, wonder if it means we're going to see a CB or two leave *cough* Disasi + Bada*cough*, though I will say Colwill hasn't covered himself in glory this year. May seem harsh and yes I know we're learning as a team, doing very well vs expectations/progress but he has not impressed me at all this season, positionally so as well, distribution aside. Cannot claim to have seen anything of this lad beyond the typical 'Welcome to Chelsea Random Player' compilation, as I read in another thread someone said that the scouts deserve credit, and they do, so I'll continue to trust their judgement.
-
Odd one for me, he had some very mature games and we hardly felt the loss of Reece to be honest. Perhaps being asked to do too much in this new system but he has been woeful, not faulting his effort but certainly an opportunity for Josh to take advantage of.
-
No surprise with Noni there, he will end up gone if he continues, I'm sure he'd be happy at a Newcastle or something, on high'ish wages and continuing his off the field lifestyle. Perhaps use in a makeweight for Isak, not that I want to sell Noni but his attitude has been a constant constant constant issue, rollercoaster.
-
I wouldn't say the knives are out, more like a head check for the manager and players. Enzo has exceeded expectations and this has highlighted a fault, much like it has with the players in recent games. If it continues into the next game then I'm sure people will be sharpening their butter knives as the lessons aren't being recognised.
-
There is only one option for the striker department in January and that's slipping Sporting 85m. In terms of CB, we will have to grossly overpay for anyone half decent, so honestly I'd stick with what we have and invest in the summer providing we make CL football.
-
I get why people wanted Felix, it's not like he's some God tier player that would change the game, he's simply a different option to what we had on the pitch ie. What we had wasn't working, so you sub, but we didn't so manager is at fault and the players as well. It is what it is, onward.
-
Deservedly lost today, none of us ever said we were title contenders and this proves it. Enzo needs to take this opportunity to rip into the dressing room and reset expectations on performances.
-
How is Enzo still on corners, he is absolutely awful on delivery. Hasn't hit one today.
-
Exactly this including Enzo. Everyone has been dire today.
-
I'm sure the decision was made his side pretty suddenly over the last few months, behind her back.
-
Who does he dislodge? Everything is risk vs reward of course, do we keep him here, learn under Enzo directly and play here and there, perhaps not at all or could we jig around premier league loand and get him to Fulham or Bournemouth. Not discounting his ability and our increased schedule/competition next year we lose that KDH type of match ( late midweeks). Tricky one, I really did rate KDH prior, still do, it's tough as it's just peaking to half a season and he is the one, oddly, that gets into the box on the late run, what Enzo is asking for. Most of the time feels like he's trying way too hard to impress, understandably, but I don't think it's a player we dump, or loan.
-
He was a good player at Leicester, no reason we should cash in unless we are expecting other solid incomings, for me Santos goes on loan again but not to Ligue 1. One player I do feel for is Carney, tons of ability, injuries and seemingly no chance back in. Due to player or club? Typically I always want to lean toward it being the player when we've had a strong manager ie. Enzo calling out Noni.
