Sign sign sign sign, even just to keep the talk and vultures away. I used to enjoy watching Brighton but ultimately I've developed an acute disdain for them now over this whole debacle.
-
Is it beyond the realms of thinking that we pay an additional £10m for Sanchez as a better means of spreading the books? Only going off quoted figures of how much we are apart in the Moises deal, nor do I know if spreading would make a meaningful difference for the amount, I'd say not, but we've spent a month haggling over £10m, or so.

Enzo has been subpar
-
Be great to see Burstow go on loan, ability is there.
-
If true, catastrophic shame and a lesson to all players going to Brighton and listening to their agent on a bumper deal. It is what it is, now we have to deal with Enzo potentially throwing his toys out, rightly so.
-
He has definitely improved his speed of pass, you can see sometimes he reverts back to taking too many touches and does a 180 but for the most part he has improved, can't fault him or anyone when it's visible like that. If he was vocal and banging the drum in the press about leaving or first time etc then he can go but he isn't. Conor isn't a Chelsea starter now, prior he has been rash, tried too hard, we all remember Tuchel screaming at him when he wouldn't release the ball quick enough and he was a liability sadly. That said, I refer back to my original few lines and this is the same guy who said to Rio off camera after an interview “make sure you say I want to go back to Chelsea” when asked, so I've got a lot of respect for that type of utility player, keyword there, utility. Hope he does well, proper Chels.

100% this, I thought he seemed rattled and erratic yesterday. Not like him at all.
-
Definitely has every right considering the dramatic progress that we have made as a team on and off the pitch. I'm seriously impressed with Poch and his team, I would be gutted if we failed to back another manager properly.

Considering Newcastle and where they are, very pleased with how we’ve shaped up. Negatives are Enzo is a touch rough, Cucu being Cucu and our pressing is lacking more so than other games.
-
We’ve bossed the game and hit like that, it’s preseason and nobody here is surprised it’s Cucu that gets us done, again.
-
Sloppy, Cucu rinsed so many times.
-
Terrible British newspaper (yes I know I know) reporting United bid £50m for Hojlund but likely £60m gets it done, just wanted to say that I’d be disappointed if he went for £60m after the quotes were £80-85m if I recall when a blue club over West London were, reportedly, interested. £60m I would definitely take a punt.
-
Hope you two have a great time!
-
What a waste of talent that lad, such a shame.
-
This is what winds me up to no end, when we go for players the value doubles, when someone wants our players it’s halved, at least. Twitter reporting Brighton want £70m + Levi or £100m, if Levi was at Brighton, can you imagine the quote price? Easily £75m+ Conor quoted at £35m, £40m rejected in Jan, why would we accept it?
-
22 years old, yes we paid alot due to getting into a war with Arsenal, but you can see how Poch coaches and in the games as well, if he doesn’t crack it under Poch then he won’t do anything. We have let too many gems go to give up on Mudryk this early.
-
I see this as the real test of where we are as a team, very disappointed to not have the midfield sewn up already in terms of transfers.
-
We’ll see toward the end of pre season, always a gamble seeing as it could result in us dipping back into the market if Poch thinks they need loans, leaning toward a loan for Casa, be chuffed to see him go to Brighton or Fulham. I can see Santos staying with us mind, very calm and composed in play.
-
Mount mediocre train continues to roll on against Lyon, no doubts he will do well for United but as I posted previously, ‘well’ isn’t what you expect from £60m + £250k+ in wages, you expect great.
-
If Conor goes then the logical step is that Poch is super impressed by Santos, considering Casa will likely go to the championship, though such a gamble without seeing players in match action, and that we look to bring in another head, Lavia?
-
The problem is that if we’d bought him for £5-10m we’d all be content with him staying as a squad player, maybe even Conor himself would be, and that’s fine. However the reality is that because he is academy produced we could get £40-50m we are almost pushing him out the door. Sad situation but that’s business.
-
Can’t help but feel like this is a game from Rom AND inter to lower the price, wouldn’t put it past them at all.
-
Very odd how it’s so public, works one of two ways, that we think the club will cave to the player, which they clearly won’t, verbal agreement or not, or that the selling club hold all the cards, which Brighton do, sadly.
-
Good signing for them, I really rate Ferguson at Brighton as a prospect, could see him moving upward, depending on which team comes in, if it’s us then triple the quote, if it’s Liverpool then probably on a free.
-
100% Always frustrates me seeing us as a baseline not be pressing for the ball because they look spent.
