Completely disagree with McKenna, floating around that Chelsea want their own Xabi etc the difference is, and Jose put this brilliantly, that Xabi was always going to be a good coach. His father, he played for major teams, worked under every top elite manager.. when he speaks, you listen, he's been there, done it and won it. That's why I never agree with the McKennas of the world getting 'their shot' rightly or wrongly. If I were a player playing for Chelsea, would I listen to him if things start to go pear shaped? Not a chance. Conte shouting in my face? Id listen, not advocating for Conte, just an example.
-
Well that's Conor and Trev gone then, no incoming manager is going to come in without agreeing that they have zero say.
-
If we performed the same in the last 5 games as we did through the season, nobody would say a word other than 'out'. Few posts on X saying that Stewart and Winstanley will look for a manager, refuse to believe something isn't lined up, nobody would be that dim, Poch's body language and comments over the last few weeks told us he didn't want to be here and/or he didn't feel the backing of the ownership, summed up by his dinner with Todd, no Eghbali.

Kaveh at Sky is a literal laughable source of any information. Funny how nobody knew anything beyond rumours today and all of a sudden he's gone, as bad as Alex C, clowns. I for one hope we get a disciplinarian in, the young guys need it.
-
Decisions have been good for the most part that the ownership has made after learning from some pretty big errors initially, you can't get everything right, just look at the Ineos mess today with Omar and Ashworth. The owners are doing everything possible to get us to where we need to be, decisions on and off the pitch. This is the right call and it's only being masked by the last 5-6 games of the season.

Reading that a club has paid compensation to Brighton for De Zerbi, it obviously isn't the release clause but apparently it's a very very small amount.
-
Only thing I read was about Milan which got denied by a few X sources, but who knows. Honestly given the choice, it feels mad as he is volatile, but I'd lump for De Zerbi over Poch, even though the latter has done absolutely nothing and I'm basing it off what I read. Just my opinion, I feel the players need someone who is going to say "Stand like this, receive the ball like that, move here, move there", whereas Poch, from what I've read, doesn't do much tactical work. We will never truly know the ins and outs until they go on the Obi podcast in 10 years.
-
Think he is gone considering the noises coming out on the usual socials, including Rio (not that I consider him a source of truth but he has a popular podcast etc.). I personally think it is 50/50, Poch wants a say, perhaps more than a say ie. Keep Conor, Clearlake want someone who gives their opinion but doesn't give a firm 'no'. Considering how long it took Poch to make a change with Cucu, never seems to have a plan B, I struggle to see tactically how he sets up a team now, and future. Especially if someone came to him and said "Right we have Kendry and Este, how do we fit them in?" now a respectable manager may say "We don't, one or the other, whoever performs best" but it seems Clearlake want the stage for their stars. I still want him gone, for the reasons I gave a few pages back, tactically I do not think he is up to it and I think the last 5-6 games masked a season of chance after chance to take advantage of dropped points elsewhere, chance after chance squandered. I genuinely dislike the amount that the last 5-6 games has changed the narrative of a season, the emotion is gone, lets be objective, in my opinion, not good enough.

Which serial winners are available? Not with a historic record, a recent one.
-
My personal opinion for removing him: - No plan B during games, he even said it himself the players have no plan except give it to Palmer - Inconsistent message externally, especially relating to Spurs, I understand you don't want to burn bridges but you're at Chelsea, a huge club, not your tiny tinpot Spuds - Misusing players in positions - Subs bar 2 notable recent games have been lacklustre I, personally, do not feel he is the guy to take us forward, he's a decent interim, but we are in such a dangerous time, if we don't kick on then we will be in dire straits.
-
Don't think it's weird, wait for the end of the season and the FA cup result, assess without emotion and make a decision. For me, he has to go.
-
De Zerbi, I'm torn, anyone who listened to Boateng on the 5 podcast recently will know that he seems the type of manager that our young squad needs to grow. I just can't get away from the multiple clubs complaining about Poch's training, non-tactical approach etc. Kyle Walker again on the same podcast said he didn't realise what training really was until he left Spurs and went to City.
-
Team played well last few games but let's not take away from the fact we played awful today, that said, our issue was not being able to play terrible and squeak out results, like Utd were doing early on on the season. Emotion out of it, Poch does not fit the model of the owners, they aren't going anywhere. Poch will not get 'his' players therefore he is not the man for the job, simple as that, he's said it enough. Pre season I was extremely excited for the football we were playing, then reality kicked in.

100% clown

People wonder why they want VAR gone
-
Sorry that's a pen.
-
Incredibly frustrating that sky sports don't show the Lamptey challenge on the highlights but show Reece's red card etc it's so biased it's a joke, I just honestly wouldn't even care as long as it wasnt one rule for one type deal. No wonder Wolves are pushing to bin VAR, though too much money has been poured into it for it to go.
-
If we capitulate here then we show we have gone backwards. , again.
-
Can't complain there.
-
100% red

Shamefully I switched off at 2-1 and did some other bits only to look a while after and see it was 3-2 on 96 minutes, shame on me! Had all the hope as per usual when Mudryk slotted in, rest of the match my gosh he was as we expect.
-
No links etc but in terms of experience I would love to see Muller come in from Bayern to play a similar role to Thiago, he's been there, done it. Doubt he'd be happy with a very bit part role but we are desperate for the right experience not just someone older. Muller was great for Hansi's Bayern.

As if no one fixed his suit and tie before this photo, my my.

The whole dross surrounding Maatsen is laughable online right now, hopefully it just results in Dortmund paying his £35m release clause.
-
Can't believe he is only 25, he can sit on that contract at United and still probably manage to nab a payday on a free with a sub-10 premiership team.
