  1. What was he doing anyway? I can't bring myself to think that Red Nev is suddenly a Chelsea fan. Always had plenty of respect for him as a player, mind. Wore his heart on his sleeves. His celebrations in front of the Kop at Anfield were brilliant.
  2. Bosingwa loves playing Barcelona. As a poster on the Barca forum said, his monobrow must scare them
  3. For those who are interested, here are the heatmaps for every outfield player excluding Cahill and Terry: Cole: Ivanovic: Bosingwa: Ramires: Lampard: Mikel: Raul Meireles: Mata: Drogba: Kalou: Torres:
  4. Here were our average positions after Terry was sent off. Cech was surprisingly high up the pitch:
  5. Pele was not allowed to leave Brazil by the military junta. They declared him a national treasure and ruled that he must play for a Brazilian club. Besides, back then, Brazilian league football was light years ahead of UEFA football, which basically at the time had Real Madrid, Benfica and then bugger all.
  6. Any news on how he's going? Looked like a hamstring twinge, that's got to hurt.
  7. Can someone link me to the Neville orgasm? Sounds hilarious. Edit: Never mind. Here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRLzgl6Aoww&feature=related
  8. Will it? We have played by some distance our best football in this tournament when we've not been given a chance. I think that trend will continue, we have immense mental strength and sheer willpower could be enough to get us over the line. It certainly was tonight.
  9. He really has improved immensely since the sacking. I wonder if its because he knows he's not a guaranteed starter anymore? And he deserves to stay just because of those weird haircuts
  10. Hope it all works out for you It's been pretty rainy worldwide hasn't it? Recent wet months have filled the biggest dam in Australia, some 30 km from Sydney, to 100%, so even the slightest of rain causes overflows and flood warnings across a city of 4 million.
  11. Mumbai summers Though I'd genuinely take a tropical summer over an Aussie summer. It may be 5-10 degrees hotter in the tropics, but over here, any day above 23 degrees absolutely broils you alive. Especially if you're dark skinned, it literally feels like you're being cooked.
  12. Wow, I hope she's okay! Just watching that match had my heartrate above 150 beats a minute, imagine what listening to it would have been like!
  13. Hard to choose the standout moment of the game. Ramires' goal, the way Drogba absolutely hurled Pique to the floor early on in the first half like he was a soft toy, Torres' goal, the great defensive performance, astonishing save after save from Cech, the penalty miss, the look of absolute fear on the face of Carles Puyol when Pique had to go off, the meltdown on RAWK, the Barcelona fans singing Cant El Barca after the final whistle with such passion, etc. I'll go with Kalou's bicycle clearance in the 70th or so minute
  14. The tabloids are wank and cater to idiots, I don't expect any better from them. Can you link me to the Shreeves interview? I've heard he was a right twat today, especially with Ivanovic.
  15. My bad, it didn't come out right. What I meant was that his performance at left back was unacceptable. I have nothing against the man, was delighted when he scored and always hope for the best from Torres, though I think we'll never see Torres c. 2008 again.
  16. The Guardian was pretty good, in fairness BL. Even Sky were fair:
  17. Well said, Ms. Layla :tophat:
  18. Red Nev He's been England's Craig Foster since the 3-1 loss to Napoli For those who don't know of him, here is an article that barely exaggerates his feelings towards the Catalans: http://uncyclopedia....ki/Craig_Foster Edit: The Likes and Dislikes section of that is brilliant. I can confirm them as 100% true, as can any other Aussie.
  19. What an amazing year it will be if we win both the finals and finish 4th, just unimaginable 4 months ago that any of the 3 were even remotely possible. Have that, Scousers.
  20. Nah, Messi has only scored 24/33 penalties. He's not that great at them. Not shocking to see him miss, just bloody happy that it happened in this match!
  21. Yellow cards can't be appealed anywhere, let alone the CL.
  22. I'll not do that. I am a royal blue and I shall never take those goggles off. More seriously, like I said earlier, he has only let us down on the pitch twice in about a dozen years. Forget what he does off the pitch, he can sleep with everyone in England's wives as long as he keeps turning out top drawer performances.
