  1. Because he is/was their best player in decades. They were in the Segunda when he played his early seasons, he got them promoted and kept them up virtually single-handedly.
  2. What a coup that would be for the A-League. He'd be by far the best ever player to grace the league, and he'd probably score 30. I was gutted that Christian Vieri never came back to Marconi Stallions, my local club.
  3. They'll never admit it unless we can chant "18-5! No history!" back at them.
  4. Try telling RAWKites we're rivals, they'll have none of it. They may hate us but they still think they're a class above. Sorta like us and QPR.
  5. They consider themselves too big for us. To them, we're just a small club with a big mouth. I dislike this concept of big or small club. All of the teams that have played CL football and gotten through to the quarters/semi finals in the past decade or so have a fair sized following.
  6. I'm quite worried about Torres. It's never easy to play the club you love, let alone when you were captain there and are still regarded as a legend. And he has already shown he has quite a few mental problems with his finishing.
  7. Disappointing start. Balotelli needs to be played more.
  8. I think BluesMaster has gone up nominated 4 or 5 times now and he's still yet to win.
  9. I knew you were joking because of the "" and because I know you to be very left wing.
  10. There is no master race. Just because northern Europeans have disproportionately dominated humanity's intellectual and have invented/pioneered a disproportionate amount of modern equipment in recent centuries doesn't take away from the fact that Northern Europe was probably the worst place for a person to be born for all history up until the late Renaissance. As far as Aryan's go, they are very much a minority and their modern descendants typically live around the Indian-Afghanistani-Pakistani borders, with a few being scattered across north eastern Iran. This represents the furthest extent their empire expanded to, in Vedic Age India:
  11. http://cavalierfc.tu...-about-the-bike Who's up for an essay that makes mine look like it was written by a little kid? What a write up
  12. Perhaps he's protesting against the European stripping and perverting to serve their own means of everything Indian (the concept of an Aryan race, the swastika, etc.) that occurred during the late 19th and early 20th centuries and defacing certain things the Western world stands for. An eye for an eye, as it were.
  13. Yep, very fair. He was by far the worlds best striker that season (with apologies to Diego Milito). I wonder if Shanghai would mind if we loaned him every April for the next few seasons, wheeling him out for the late stages of the CL, FA Cup and PL.
  14. Mario Gomez. Anyway, Ronaldo has now scored in 5 successive Clasico's. People should hop off the "he's shit in the big games" bandwagon. Also, this was amazing:
  15. Spike is an early riser. I woke up 20 minutes ago, at 12:17 Australian time
  16. Our rivals are: Tottenham Arsenal Fulham QPR Millwall West Ham Leyton Orient Brentford Leeds May have missed out on a couple of London clubs there but you get the point. We aren't rivals with Man United, Man City or Liverpool. A rivalry takes more than just a decade of close competition for the same prize, otherwise Chelsea-Barcelona would be the second most important fixture for Barcelona after El Clasico.
  17. City What a club. From the 'Welcome to Manchester' sign for Tevez, to the vast amount of madcap striker's they've got (Tevez, Super Mario, Adebayor probably between them are the craziest striking trio to have ever played the game), to cheeky bids for Messi and Berbatov, and now this.
  18. We're hardly rivals with United. I'm sure most of our fans will get on board from the get-go, the rest certainly will if he has a great time here. A player with the skills of Rooney, I'd take him for sure. As for his acting the cunt off and on the pitch, you need look no further than John Terry as the Chelsea equivalent.
  19. I've always wondered why we haven't seen a serious gash on a leg yet up until Rooney. Metal studs are sharp and human skin isn't the most resistive substance in the world.
  20. Come on Lille! Also what we absolutely must avoid is a massive away trip to Ukraine/Russia. It's very difficult to beat those teams in their own backyards.
