rondon would jump at the chance to come to chelsea. he wont be said 'youre the third choice striker' he will see that chelsea only have 2 central strikers! he will fancy his chances if torres doesnt cut it. we have the players to give him the service. he heads and times his jump way better than lukaku and he is a similar sort of big physical striker. it's a perfect solution for the situation we are in now. we need a forward who can hold the ball up and link the the attacking mids- rondon can do this when torres or daniel cannot.

physicality and we can't rely on 2 strikers for 60 games. we need a third one. lukaku is not good enough so rondon/ba would be a good third option.

rondon would be a good addition to the squad, he is 22. he won't demand 'first team' as he has a lot to prove. he will get his chances in cup games and games when torres is out injured. he has an ok goal scoring ratio. he's not prolific but he has the potential to be as such. add to that, malaga are being sold and their players will now be for sale to decrease debt and all other financial issues. it's a no-brainer!

to be fair oscar is worth more than 25 million. thank GOD we spotted him before olympics. look what young players cost these days. 32 for hazard, for sure 30 + for gotze and around 50 for neymar. oscar is easily worth those guys but thankfully, we spotted him before the rest of europe did (apart from spurs LOL)

it wont harm torres's confidence. buying a 'complete' striker will hurt torres's confidence. buying 'next big things' basically mean they are subs to torres. it puts not a lot of pressure on torres. we have to make sure we have a capable strike force. can't rely on torres and sturridge alone! lukaku has to go on loan which leaves a vacancy and rondon can fill that vacancy!

he's a central striker and gives us the option of playing him up top if torres and sturridge don't cut it. i think with the right service, rondon will give you goals and we now have a team capable of serving up tap ins for strikers. i really think we should have a look at this. we've already spent a lot of money this window. a deal like this could be the ideal way to end the window (and a right back). we need two 'good' squad players. azpi and rondon are more than capable of filling the role. both young, and bags of potential.

we dont need any midfielders. we need a right back and back up striker. that is ALL.

a complete over analysis of a pre season game. apart from the ramires part, i disagree completely. mikel and lampard are perfectly suited to the double pivot. the reason they 'slow' the game down is because of the in capability of the front four to do anything inventive..hazard aside. once you see mata, oscar, hazard and torres/sturridge in full flow playing infront of lampard and mikel- you will see the difference. so many times in the first half- lampard made the killer ball fizzed into space for mereiles where mereiles messed up his footwork, when you have mata instead of mereiles, this will automatically change. i however, do agree that ramires is best used in a tactical role and in a role where the team is expected to sit back. also notice that we had 60 % possession, completed over 200 more passes than milan and dominated the kind of aspects that de matteo is looking to dominate. the bigger picture and outlook is still very positive despite the negative results.

seriously, some of you guys need to have a look in the mirror and ask yourself why on earth are you guys so hurt after a pre season loss? good lord. did you see the players faces? they were smiling, laughing and shaking hands. nothing to see today. the interesting thing to notice is the statistics and what de matteo is trying to do in the long term. we had 60 % possession and completed 200 more passes then milan. i know it's a useless statistic but instead of looking at the result, try seeing the bigger picture, we are building something special. this is just a practice session to get our rhythm more in-tune. we have the talent, the facilities, the dough and the mentality. all we need now is time, and patience. caaaaaalm.

lampard is good in the double pivot. oscar can play in the final third where we need our most creative players. the goals, the movement, the pace will come very soon. just be patient. and don't worry we're not done shopping yet.

we should NOT play 4 3 3 with the current players at disposal. continue 4 2 3 1 with higher tempo. use the trio of marin hazard and piazon to support torres. leave out players like mereiles away from the final third in a attacking position.

no. don't be fooled by a poor pre season. we played mereiles as a no 10 for god's sake and lukaku was our main striker all pre season long. these are not players who will feature next season for our team. not crucially anyway. when mata, oscar, sturridge comes back- you will notice the difference in pace and movement.

i know deco is a portugese international, but he is brazilian.

we do have a much better history with brazilians then united in recent years. belletti, alex, luiz, ramires, deco amongst the first teamers...all proved handy for us. now oscar, piazon will come good. well there's mineiro..lol but he never played a single game.

massively overrated player. never want to see him in chelsea blue
