I agree but it seems like the easy trade is to trigger the buy back clause. I see the likelihood of that very high. And hence we will be stuck with ake.... I prefer someone like you mentioned, Giménez type of defender but I'm not sure sure if we will do that. And azpi I wonder if he would improve as a cb? He did that with Conte. But it was a back three...

After City we faced West Ham and Emerson was preatty bad. But I see your point, and I tend to agree that we should give a run of James - Rudgier (if fit) Tomori and Emerson in the back. I also feel that could be the best till we upgrade. Mid of Jorgi Kante and Kova would be good even though we got owned by Valencia. Just need to get used to and work better the 3. 4-3-3 is the best we can do for now until we upgrade.

I remember here people wanting Emerson out after the City game? Emerson is just not good enough. We need Chilwell or Gaya. Rudgier who knows if he will be back in form. Takes a while from injury to be back in form. We need a new CB!

Because that is how we are playing now. I remember Valdez for Barcelona would often do this. It's the price to pay for when you play out from the back.

Like @Jason once said Mount was vital for the link up between mid and forwards,. But just like Jorginho, his form has taken a dip. Jorginho goes down we all go down, that is my analysis.

I will wait till we have a better defense to reserve my judgement on him.

It's no surprise we have gone downhill since the drop in form of Jorginho. He was the one making us tick. Jorginho and Kova helped our team tremendously in the first few months. It's no surprise because the same thing happen with Sarri. Played awesome and then fell apart. Apart from Jorginho we have no one that can truly help us control mid and creativity. That is one major problem that i have been saying as to why a backup to Jorginho would be amazing as the guy cannot hold entire season...... And last defense is horrible. I'm not going to say much more then let's hope Lampard is smart and upgrade Zouma and AC. I do like Tomori, he has potential, but the other 2 please sell them and get 2 new cb.

Exactly, I always said be happy he is in the team because it increases his value. But we need to sell him. To keep him now that his stock is up is the stupidest thing we can do.

Of course but people say, oh no Zouma is doing good we don't need anything. They are just horrible, AC and Zouma. Sell them both! Buy some upgrades to our defense because we are never going anywhere with these 2!

We can go for a loan for Real Madrid forward Jovic. Get Zaha and get rid of Giroud and Bats. Think that would be a nice upgrade?

50 million seems like the fair price to get him. I would offer 40 million and a player. Like @Jason mentioned. CP wanted Bats, let's give them Bats and money for Zaha. I wonder what valuation that will put it at? How much is Bats worth?

I know but it was just a saying. That in general Zaha for 80 million is a no go. But if you can get Zaha for a decent price then we should take him. I don't know how much CP will sell for. I imagine 40 millions will do?

Can we do a buy in January and leave them in loan with their team till the summer? Like we did with pulisic? I would think teams like Leicester would accept for chillwell and Dortmund for Sancho.

I don't want him any more for the price that Crystal Palace will demand. If you get him for 30 million or so then I will take it, but no way they will want that.
