A lot of increase of infections but less death. We might be getting immunization to this. One example is the ridiculous social distance, but during the black live matter riots everyone was so close and no one die from coronavirus. We can get infected but it seems like death are decreasing which is great.

It's what people have been saying, it's like pre season. So it's a little foolish to make much of results this early on. Give it time till November. Most teams should be settled by then and we will see the real deal.

I don't think it matters who we start he is just not good enough for defense, Lampard. This should be his last season with us and next get nagelsmam.

@Vesper one thing sad of that article you posted is this: Chelsea spent the summer of 2017 unsuccessfully pursuing Virgil van Dijk and Kalidou Koulibaly to bolster Conte’s defensive options. Dang how we would have done with Conte if we had gotten those two. 🙁

Took 2 to 3 seasons to do that. Likewise they need to go on loan to regain that.

I have to say I'm actually pleasently surprised at how zouma has improved. From signing with us to sending him to loan to wanting him gone to now seeing his work and value in the club. Lampard has done good work in bringing back zouma and put his trust in him.

It is why I'm done with Spanish players for a while. The last great is Thiago that Liverpool got, after that not interested. That's why I prefer that we didn't get Reguillon and got Chillwell. You have a point and I feel you, but after 2 games in the new season? For real? There's no point in taking things serious now as every season the same thing happens. Some teams start amazing and fall apart, some start bad and improve. Others bad and continue to be bad. But anyone not learning from the past is just ignoring that nothing is to be taking serious at the beginning. It's just the news paper that have to hype things up to sell stuff. But everyone should know is that by November-December time frame is when we know the real deal of the sustainability of the club for that season. Hence my point is to wait and see how we are doing by November. Edit: For the record if by November-December we still doing the same shenanigans then I would want us to get Nagelsmann. And if we can't get him in December then no point sacking Lampard mid season, wait to finish the season and next season get Nagelsmann.

Let's wait until November to decide about everything. In 2 games every season we see things that don't hold for the entire. We just need to see how we organize from here till November-December.

Guy was out of shape after Covid. Hence is foolish to make decisions so soon. Similar now many players are not fit and look hap hazard. I mean look at Kai giving some wasted passes. Let's wait a month or two so that player can get up to speed.
