  1. Apparently the Giliead drug is no good!
  2. Yeah that was inevitable. It's sad, because we in the wealthy nations can sustain a lockdown for 40 days or more. But not the poor countries where people make a living outside. Let's not even talk about not having money for food and what not to buy at groceries.
  3. This moves makes sense only if we are getting at a discount. Giving that Barcelona are having a lot of problems right now because of the virus, I gather they would want to sell to raise some cash. If this is true is because we are pouncing on an opportunity to buy at a good discount. We need to be aware that because of the virus, a lot of clubs will want to sell to raise some cash. And the one who is able to pay up front will benefit greatly.
  4. Problem with Telles is that he is a last pick. For many years no one went for him and now.....I don't know if we should be going for him at this time. Think the ship has sailed.
  5. Apple and Google partner on COVID-19 contact tracing technology Across the world, governments and health authorities are working together to find solutions to the COVID-19 pandemic, to protect people and get society back up and running. Software developers are contributing by crafting technical tools to help combat the virus and save lives. In this spirit of collaboration, Google and Apple are announcing a joint effort to enable the use of Bluetooth technology to help governments and health agencies reduce the spread of the virus, with user privacy and security central to the design. Since COVID-19 can be transmitted through close proximity to affected individuals, public health officials have identified contact tracing as a valuable tool to help contain its spread. A number of leading public health authorities, universities, and NGOs around the world have been doing important work to develop opt-in contact tracing technology. To further this cause, Apple and Google will be launching a comprehensive solution that includes application programming interfaces (APIs) and operating system-level technology to assist in enabling contact tracing. Given the urgent need, the plan is to implement this solution in two steps while maintaining strong protections around user privacy. First, in May, both companies will release APIs that enable interoperability between Android and iOS devices using apps from public health authorities. These official apps will be available for users to download via their respective app stores. Second, in the coming months, Apple and Google will work to enable a broader Bluetooth-based contact tracing platform by building this functionality into the underlying platforms. This is a more robust solution than an API and would allow more individuals to participate, if they choose to opt in, as well as enable interaction with a broader ecosystem of apps and government health authorities. Privacy, transparency, and consent are of utmost importance in this effort, and we look forward to building this functionality in consultation with interested stakeholders. We will openly publish information about our work for others to analyze. All of us at Apple and Google believe there has never been a more important moment to work together to solve one of the world’s most pressing problems. Through close cooperation and collaboration with developers, governments and public health providers, we hope to harness the power of technology to help countries around the world slow the spread of COVID-19 and accelerate the return of everyday life. https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2020/04/apple-and-google-partner-on-covid-19-contact-tracing-technology/
  6. Any word on how the re open are going around the world? Last time I remember China was trying to re open, recently Germany. How is that going?
  7. Questions mount over Christian group behind Central Park Covid-19 hospital Facility run by Trump ally Franklin Graham’s organisation requires staff to sign statement opposing gay marriage ....... Despite all the outrage, Graham, 67, told the Guardian in an interview on Thursday that he believed “the vast majority of New Yorkers are glad that we are there” and that the organisation would remain in Central Park for as long as it was needed. The preacher, who lives in Boone, North Carolina, added: “It’s just a small handful of people who are opposed. And I find in life there’s always somebody who’s opposed to whatever you do and they’re just naysayers who disagree with our difficult positions and take exception to that.” Defending the statement of faith, he said: “We are an evangelical Christian organisation and we want to have people of like mind.” He said “a handful” of qualified people had been turned away because they could not sign the statement of faith, which he said was non-negotiable. “If they agree with it they’ll sign it, if they don’t agree with it then they move on. That’s just who we are and we’re not going to change who we are.” But he insisted that all patients were treated the same “regardless of their sexual orientation, their race or their religion, it doesn’t matter”. He also claimed he was not homophobic or Islamophobic, but added: “I certainly disagree with homosexuality and I believe the Bible’s very clear about what it has to say about homosexuality, and that’s my opinion and that’s what I believe, but I’m not anti-gay.” https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/apr/19/questions-mount-over-christian-group-behind-central-park-covid-19-hospital
  8. It's not easy to be lock down for more then 30 days. But in wealthy nations we can weather the storm. But what about in poor countries? Like in the regions of Central America, South America, India, Asia and what not. People who make a living outside, there's no business running. Ilegal immigrants who get no help. People who have big families. NY can sustain till may 15 and beyond. But those poor countries how can they sustain with their economy's shut down?
  9. There's like a drug that is being put out by Gilead that is supposed to be doing well. Let's hope they can make progress on that.
  10. We should be in theory able to do that. Thanks in part to no transfer window for one season.....Well we did spend on Pulisic, Kovavic and Ziyech. But we should still have some money left. We shall see once the transfer window opens.
  11. So the numbers in China revise up to 50%. I guess nothing surprising since most people expected China to be lying about their numbers.
  12. Exactly,. because of the contracts is best to finish the season before July 1st. If you can't do it is best to finish the season and let contracts run like normal.
  13. I bet is much easier to travel to other places in Europe living in Europe. As for me it's much easier to hit central and south america. Recently been to Panama, Honduras and Colombia. Panama city is like a small Miami. Honduras I was by the coast, la Ceiba. Honduras can be dangerous but that area was relative quiet and peaceful. Colombia just went to Barranquilla. I did not explore much since at that time I did Lasik eye surgery. But next time looking forward to go to Cartagena. For Europe I would look forward to that maybe in a year or two. Two sounds more like it since next year I have plans to go back to Honduras and Colombia.
  14. I thought Piet De Visser left? Anyhow he is a good scout. He was the one that spotted KDB and help bring him to Chelsea.
  15. lol crazy people. Although I do believe this virus was man made in the Wuhan Lab, but I'm not going to go say that in public television unless I have definitely proof. This culture today we live in has taking a leaf from the books of Hitler time. Tell a lie long enough and people will believe in it. In TV people bash other people without any proof. And that goes for both sides, the left and right!
  16. Have a good weekend, and as the president and bishop said, that the death angel will pass over you and the blood of Jesus cover you and your family. 🙏🏼
  17. I will share a better movie with you. Take a look and let me know what you think:
  18. Well stock market look like it recover. Just like I mentioned before, it was just a little correction. It was a good opportunity to buy as this would not be sustainable giving that we have the FED that does a good job. Now if in the future we go global and some higher entity like the UN controls everything then that would never work. The reason why it's so good for our stock market is because the FED is independent and not run by all the shenanigans of capitol hill. The left and right always fighting will never get anything done. Put things into perspective, it was just a little correction from big bull run since 2008:
  19. Look at this way, when two people love each other, they are happy, get married and live together. At some point in time that family of 2 decides they want to share their love and thus procreate a child, and that family of two becomes 3. And all why? Because of love. So that's one aspect to consider. Another aspect is that in this factor of love there's also something called the ability to choose, freedom. You need to be free to choose. Example if I'm going to marry my wife and I point a gun at her and forced her to get married to me, that is not love. That is forced and it's a violation. So love requires freedom. Now that freedom for you to choose requires risk. The other aspect of love is the risk that is being entail. Example, I love my son and he is 16 years old. He comes and ask me to borrow the keys of the car to drive downtown with his friend. Is there a risk in this? Yes if I don't trust my son to make the right decisions. But If I trust my son because he is a mature 16 years old I would lend him the key. So love entails risk. The decision that you make brings about consequences. Weather to good and superior moral choices or the bad choices that will lead to destruction and pain. So if you just take a look at that, a being that is love, then there will be some limits. Love requires freedom, freedom entails risk, risk brings consequences, consequences brings about responsibility which enables growth.
  20. You forget another thing, God is love. If God is love then there's thing he will be limited to. Yes you heard that, as outrageous as it sounds. For example in love you cannot force no one otherwise it will be a violation, rape, and all that ugly stuff that is done when someone is forced to do something. Since God is love and a being that is in nature love then how does he needs to create?
  21. In the end you have no proof to your statement.....
  22. You have proof of this? Anyhow not related to what i have posted. I guess you did not even bother to watch the movie I posted.
  23. It will happen. If we get another president like Obama we will surrender all that in order to embrace globalization. That is what the world wants and that is where we will be heading. All for the sake of peace and stability.
