Which team are Chelsea's biggest rivals in England
Fernando replied to newman 8151's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Arsenal! How many years and counting since last trophy? :blue scalf: -
Well the past managers speak volume. As Chelsea had a better squad, and got outsmarted by a crappier team like United because of their coach. I don't think their are many top coaches out there left. Besides Guardiola and Klopp I don't see anybody else. And those two are not coming.

So it is as I was expecting. Now City will be a real force. I never took them serious with Mancini. Sure they won the PL last year, but that was because United had a once in a lifetime collapse with SAF. With Pellegrini going to City, now more then ever we will need a top coach. If Mourinho does not come back we might be screw.

Well according to this article, Pellegrini is really good....... Manuel Pellegrini is next best thing for Manchester City after Guardiola http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/may/12/manuel-pellegrini-manchester-city-malaga

You've obviously did not watch the last Chelsea game. A great team work goal with Lampard the goal scorer.
-
Other then watching Ecuador matches as of late I have not really watch much of international fixtures. I did watch some world cup matches from south Africa but my country was not there so did not care much. :-) I did managed to go to the one in germany, was a blast so looking forward to Brazil. Will definitely go and this time my country is playing better then before. ;-)

Is there any ways to know who will be going there? As far as players I mean. Cause it seems like an odd thing. That's not even a pre-season?
-
Slate for what? All I been saying is that because people hate him so much they can't see that he has done an ok job. But that he is in the league of Mourinho, SAF, Guardiola and Klopp? Hecks no. Yeah preatty much. My job takes too much time. Only got time for one team.

Someone put that Mourinho wants to bring Khedira..... Is that guy any good? Where is Varane name being mention? I would take that bad boy over any other player they got.
-
The fact remain is that without Roman money we would not be where we are at. In fact Chelsea was about to go to administration before Roman came. So thanks to oil money Chelsea is an elite force. Don't care about the little things you guys mention, money saved us and brought us great players and great manager. Yeah but we need more then one striker, surely? If we have not learned from buying stars in the past, we will never learned. I rather buy young players with a lot of potential like Lukaku, Hazard, Oscar and such. I will add Benteke to that list, very well prospect.
-
Yeah do bad when we pay for stars. Which is why I don't think cavani and Falcao will be wise. It's best to get someone with potential like benteke
-
It's funny cause that's the same thing I hear from opposing fans towards Chelsea.
-
Torres, the board, and Romans fault. Nothing more to say.
-
If that's true, then all jokes towards City will be over. They will now truly give everyone a proper challenge. In the league and in Europe.
-
Yeah he was piss poor. I wonder who they will get now.

This will make my year, if Arsenal fails to qualify for the CL! :blue scalf:

Yeah but Ba is not like a top striker for years to come. I'm looking more with Lukaku and Benteke that can stay with us for like a decade. Might be similar, but if you had the chance to have 2 Drogbas, would you take it? Not to mention they are from the same country, so they could get well a lone. And please no Rooney. I'm not sold on that, and my belief is that United are a big club, so why would you leave a big club from the PL to go to another PL club? If you want to move, you want to move abroad. Schurrle is not a pure striker, he is very flexible. This is why I would not mind having a future team of Schurrle, Lukaku and Benteke.
-
Yeah he did good this season. But I think another loan season might be better for him. What do you guys think? For me one more season and he will be well seasoned to be a starter in our team. Cause with Torres in the team, Lukaku needs to stay away. If we get rid of Torres and get another star, it would be the same. But if we get someone like Benteke, then I can see Lukaku with less pressure. As with a top stars it puts too much pressure. Benteke, Lukaku and Ba should be good for our striker department...and with Schurrle added in the mix we would be good. Saves us more money then going for a Cavani or Falcao. And we don't go for the superstars that we normally do bad, like Crespo, Sheva, Torres.

Videos please of the Watford game.
-
Anyone got the video for that last moment? I miss it.
-
That's only one striker men. We need 3 or 4 strikers. Unless you are counting Torres in our list for next season!
-
15 mill is cheap. With Lukaku, and Benteke we should be good. Well we got Ba as well, so that would be 3 great strikers. Get rid of Torres ASAP this summer. Otherwise if Mourinho comes back, he might also lose his job because of this guy like past manager. But top teams have at least 3 strikers. United got more, so if we get another one like Bony I would not cry. For the amount of money we spend on a Falcao or Cavani, we can get Benteke, Bony and maybe Schurrle!
-
Chelsea where linked with him in the winter and we got Ba. Ba, is ok but I would not mind someone like him.
-
I like this guy. He is young, and has great potential. He would not cost an arm and a leg to get him. Plus in the past Chelsea does good when we get good players like him, with great potential but are not already top stars. When we go for top stars is when we screw up. Plus if Mourinho comes back, I will assume he will want some more physical guys in his team. So get a guy that has the hunger, and can become addicted to the Chelsea and Mourinho cause like Drogba did.
-
Ryan Bertrand is ok for our future LB. But I would like it if we sign him in the summer. He can actually stay at Southampton on loan for a year. Cause Cole still got a year or two left in him.
