  1. Well at the moment Lukaku is still not ready to be main striker. His first touch is still awful. He can come back and work himself out, or continue to develop on loan. This loan at Everton was really good, regardless of what people said that he should be with us.
  2. This thread will be like this for a while. Maybe even worse....
  3. As you see for yourself give your money to a fool like mancini and your performance will be mediocre. Give it to a top coach like Pellegrini and you see great works. Spending is good and buying top players is good, but who's managing them is also good. Long live Moyes!!!
  4. What I don't understand is why are people so afraid that United will become a force because of mata? They won't! And it's because of who's managing them. Look at City for the last season. They bought a lot of talents but was able to win a title in the last minute. And after that it was more of the same, mediocre performance. After city came to their senses they hired a really top coach and in a season you can see the major changes the team has undergone from a mediocre coach to a top coach. It will be the same at United, no matter what players they get, they will always fall short because of who's managing them.
  5. Well it's mostly Gilvorak and Lionsden that have an agenda against Mourinho. I mean it's okay to question one or two things and be sad/confuse/angry about the whole Mata situation. But these two guys been at it since the first day he got here.
  6. Well since we are getting salah my interest pick in all this hostility. And being this is the political thread I was curious why Muslim, Arabic and such hate Israel so much? I will let you know where I stand. I believe in the Bible and believe when God says Israel is his people. That's all I'm going to disclose now.
  7. This would be something if he makes at Chelsea. It will be a hazardous duo!
  8. Or you mean fake replica jersey? We need to get a player from rich nations like Japan, or Korea. Look how much money gave to United from the Asia commerce.
  9. I thought he said only one? I think it's fair to say that Moses is a goner. Traore might be too soon.
  10. Here's a good article about Mourinho decision making and how this deal was good for all parties: Mata deal is best for him, United AND Chelsea It's always sad to lose your best player, with Juan Mata having been voted as such by the club's fans and players for two years running. The Spaniard is known to be popular with the board, happy in the area and loyal to the club. The sole reason for the 25-year old's departure, in that case, is Jose Mourinho. You could argue that the touted £40m is a huge contributing factor but United would simply not be bidding on the playmaker if he were in the Portuguese's plans. The fact is that Chelsea are winning matches without him. Mourinho has proven that he can contest for the title where predecessors couldn't without even playing the man that was deemed to be their strongest asset; something that he is likely to take real pleasure from. The primary reason that 'The Special One' has given for dropping the former Valencia man is a lack of defensive contribution, or at least in relation to what he demands from his players. In Mourinho's eyes Chelsea will have had two luxury players last season, and in his system there is only room for one. WhoScored.com’s statistically calculated player characteristics show that both Mata and Hazard have ‘defensive contribution’ as a weakness. Meanwhile, Oscar’s defensive contribution is ‘strong’, while Willian’s is statistically ‘very strong’. Hazard is undoubtedly Mourinho’s luxury, while Oscar and Willian are being tasked with the hard graft that allows the Belgian to flourish. It’s worked, and he’s done exactly that. Angel Di Maria played a similar role under Mourinho at Real Madrid. A tireless runner, Ronaldo's need to track back was lessened by the Argentine's work rate on the opposite flank. You could argue that the Spanish giants had two luxury players in Mourinho's attacking midfield, with Ozil playing in behind the striker, but the manager has been quick to talk up the competitiveness of the Premier League in comparison to the 'two-team' La Liga at the time. The Chelsea boss is clearly looking to press high up the pitch when possible, but also have more solidity to the side; a lack of which he may have felt cost them in recent years. Chelsea fans can be as heartbroken as they like, and they will be, but £40m for a player that is surplus to requirements under a man that they were desperate to return is an incredibly good deal. Ideally you don't want to sell to a club that, despite an awful campaign thus far, will likely still challenge for honours in the coming years, but there is no side outside of England that will pay that sort of money right now. United are in somewhat of a desperate situation, and one that Chelsea are probably right to exploit. They need to rebuild and plan for the future in a time when key players may well see their own away from Old Trafford. Signing Juan Mata, if both Rooney and Van Persie stay beyond the summer, would certainly seem to make little tactical sense. Any formation involving all three would surely see a lack of wingers, while Moyes is known for favouring attacks down the flanks. Indeed, no side has focused fewer of their attacking touches down the central third of the pitch than United this season (24%). It's in this area where they've lacked creativity, however, with just 4 assists coming from wingers in the league thus far this season (Januzaj 2, Valencia 2). Meanwhile, Wayne Rooney, who has played in behind the striker more often than not, has 9 assists - three times the amount of any other teammate. Mata is a superb player, there's no doubting that much. Since he arrived in England only compatriot David Silva has picked up more assists and created more chances in the Premier League than Mata's figures of 27 and 227 respectively. He can unlock a defence like few others in and around the box, but United will need to have a change in style if he was to do so to the greatest possible effect at Old Trafford. The reigning champions would unquestionably be strengthening their squad by signing the 25-year old. They'll also be giving Chelsea a huge sum of money for a player on the fringes of the side, with which they can improve their team greatly where necessary. United fans will be delighted at the prospect of seeing Mata in red if the transfer is secured but Chelsea's faithful shouldn't be feeling too blue over a deal that is certainly right for them at this moment. 11. Well I guess your right about this one then.
  12. hmmm that's an interesting point of way at looking at it. No I meant that with the club decided to sell even though Mourinho might not want to send him to a rival. He did it with Ba by not sending him to Arsenal, so what change here? It's not the first time that the board done that. Sturridge was better then Torres, but managers picked Torres ahead of him. So the club did what they thought was best, sell Sturridge for a profit to a rival. Feels like the same way here.
  13. Chelsea is still a revolving door, not because of the players but because of Roman. I still yet to see this defenite proof that Roman has giving him full power like Fergie. I still see it as the board doing most of the decisions and Mourinho going a long or giving his thoughts just like most coach in the past.
  14. Well if we start doing bad, Roman is Roman. No one is secure from the Roman hammer!
  15. No he doesn't. Because he is contradicting himself. When ba was about to leave he blocked it because it will strengthen the rival. This Jose had control. Here mata to United he goes on and state how this club is special letting people go that don't want to be here. No matter if it strengthen a rival. Take a look at the deal sturridge to Liverpool. Did the board cared if it strengthen them? No! Similar here, the money is good they accept. I don't see the hand of full control from mourinho, but I still see the board having the biggest influence in what happens. Contrary to what TX will have you believe that mourinho has all the power ala saf. And that's clearly not the case!
  16. Well I support Israel all the way. But I believe what mourinho said is right. The kid was young, under pressure and sometimes we do stupid stuff when young. He will learn his place, fit right in, and in a couple of months will forget about all this nonsense.
  17. So yet again the fool of terminator x getting ahead of himself saying that Roman had given all the power to mourinho..... It's still the same board calling all the shots and will be like that as long as Roman is at the club!
  18. Thank you mata for your time. Enjoy your time at United. I know you will do great!
  19. So was mourinho was right with the mata move? I mean was it as TX said that Roman gave him all the power? Or was it the board that decides to sell? Because there's been in the past when ba wanted to leave but mourinho didn't let him because he would have strengthen a rival. Well isn't mata to United the same?
  20. Love your avatar men. I remember that, Cole going crazy after Didier penalty. Amazing day Anyways this Salah guy, he can easily have an impact close to that of Duff. Have people here forgotten Duff? Guy wasn't at the level of Robben or currently Hazard, but he provided great games to our team. I will expect him with Willian to give us good enough cover for that side.
  21. Is Chelsea’s new signing Salah on collision course with Roman Abramovich? http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/pitchside-europe/chelsea-signing-salah-collision-course-abramovich-191148729.html
  22. What people don't get is that we replaced mata with Oscar. Mata plays in that role but Oscar made it his thus pushing him to the wings. In which 9 times out of 10 he was going to fail with the likes of Willian. Now salah is just replacing the role that mata was having, that of a sub.
  23. Your country had this guy named Mohamed Aboutrika right? I think he used to play for some club named Ahly or whatever. He was probably the best I seen from Egypt. If you say he is better then him, then I'm happy.
  24. What about the UEFA super cup against Bayern? We counter attack and they just attack and attack and attack. I love that shit! It was amazing, total futbol from Bayern, not that boring tiki taka from Barcelona.
  25. He kinda reminds of two players. Jermaine Penant and Marcelo.
