He will do alright. It was Ivan that had to be dropped. We should be alright with Mikel in the middle. But still I'm getting annoyed at Mourinho at how he tries to solve the "problem" at times.

I think if we don't have Ramires or Zouma in the middle it will be one crazy game. So giving the shenanigans of our defense lets hope Mourinho does some reinforcement in the middle for this game. I think Ivan would start and should be okay if we have Ramires or Zouma in the mid. The word is "should" Of course I would love to see what Baba got but I doubt that will happen in this game.

Well here's the thing, Mourinho didn't had enough patience with him after a sub par performance, but he sure can do it for Ivanovic... You need to have more patience for the younger guys not the older guys!

It is why I'm baffled at the new contract he got. We did exactly the same mistake real Madrid did in giving him a contract extension after winning the title. I think you learn more from the season where you don't win much. Take a look at pellegrini and Mourinho career in England the past 3 years. What is the difference? That even though both having rich teams they won the same trophies with the exception of one thing. There's progression in pellegrini team of style. Third season of Mourinho what is our style? It's understandable to be very pragmatic your first season but after 3 seasons we should have an idea what the guy is about. Now ask yourself is this the guy to really lead us for a decade? At the moment I don't think so. He continues to be a manager for a 3 to 5 year solution. And you know what? That's fine, but let's not get long term stability just for the sake of it. It has to be someone that has the same philosophy of the club. And by those quotes you just put it looks like the philosophy of the club and Mourinho are not being met at the moment.

Amen my friend. Said it before, I would not be mad if we finish 2 or 3rd while having a go with some younger players. Is not like we asking to have a full team of the younger players but use at least 2. And protect them, not throw them under the bus for crying out loud.

Not asking to put in 4 or 5. But 2 would be a nice start. Just by having time and patience in 2 like he has done for players like Oscar, and recently bad performers like Ivan is not much to ask. But no Mourinho rather criticize the younger player then say a bad word about the older folks like Ivan.....

Easy implement youth from the academy. Have patience on them like he does for Ivanovic.....

Well after hearing about the marquino bid then this is clearly a panic situation. Lack of options and we did exactly like we did two seasons ago. Waste our time in shenanigans like Rooney and up getting poor options. Now the same repeat scenario after stones. Ridiculous to the highest degree.

I was thinking about this. But like I said somewhere else it might be Jose fault for his lack of rotation and use of youth. This is the season in which he should be implementing youth. And this is the board letting Mourinho know that he must gamble on them this season. As long as we finish in top 4 it would be good. But of course he won't and will just stick with people like Ivanovic that under perform for many games. While he can't have that same patient for some of the younger players....
