No. Seriously this thread has no purpose now. Why on earth would we buy him? We are packed in the areas Hulk would play in. CF is where we need to add.
Mata, Hazard, Moses, Marin, and Oscar. We have great depth in the wings and Attacking Midfielder department. Not to mention Ramires, KDB, and Meireles can play there as well Crazy Depth.
Ummm is is just me or is anyone else confused about the reaction to Marin's Flannel shirt. It must be a European thing because in the West that's 'in' and 'fashionable' right now.
I don't think a tough game like Newcastle should be his first start. He can be brought on later in the game. RDM also obviously has shown he likes to have a hard worker/defensive type in the midfield band of three. I think this is because he knows the double pivots are quite poor so wants more more stability. If our double pivots were really strong we would see a lot more of 3 attacking players behind Torres.
If Sturridge leaves we will get another Striker. Moses would then become the 'Sturridge/Kalou' of the team. A winger/striker. Still a bit light I would say unless the CF we buy is real quality like Cavani.
We were waiting for a little while for these 2 deals and they get done on about the same day. Nice. So is that our business done for this window? Surely one more player is needed. Either a CF or DM.
Our 2nd team will be something like this Moses Oscar Marin Sturridge Not bad at all and we may still sign another striker yet. Anyways hopefully this finnally means Ramires can be tried in the pivots or CM if we switch to 4-3-3 and not RW. Marin and Moses can give us some level of width.
OK so hopefully we forget about Hulk and go for a real CF now. Not quite. If we buy a CF then we would have 2 very good/great players in every position in the final third but midfield needs work. Some new combinations of players in the pivot might fix it.
