  1. Real is easily above the likes of us and United. Don't know how anyone cannot see that. They are arguably the best team in the world.
  2. We may be the ones predominantly counter attacking, depending on RDM's ability to muster up some courage regarding the lineup.
  3. Which is why we need to take the initiative and the game to Juve. Put them under the Pump and go out to win.
  4. OT: Who else here is hoping Madrid utterly humiliate Citeh tonight?
  5. If we ended up changing to 4-3-3 I'd have Oscar over Lampard anyway. The bottom line is he should just not be starting anymore. The old guard has STILL not been phased out completely yet for god's sake. Ramires, Oscar, Mikel all offer something that warrants them starting over a seemingly past it Lampard.
  6. Torres could take a pay-cut to be with his beloved, boyhood club Atletico, so its not unlikely.
  7. The lack of optimism and confidence on this forum is odd. Any other forum and the fans really get behind the team and talk about winning. On this forum though, too many posters are trying to appear objective and rational, I suspect to try and win member of the month awards or something which is quite pathetic. Most of the time they come across as Pessimistic. Its always better to be Optimistic, especially if you're the fucking team who won the Champions League.
  8. No way will Lampard be dropped and no way will Romeu be given his first start of the season in such a big, tough game.
  9. We don't have the DM's to completely shut out Juventus's midfield but we can still shut out at least one player. Obviously that player has to be Pirlo. I don't think Marchisio or Vidal have the creativity to hurt us too much, as good as they are. Stay reasonably solid at the back and we can keep a clean sheet. This is a home game so we need to be more adventurous and should attack them. The away game against Juventus is the game where RDM can be forgiven for being defensive.
  10. I hate any club that's not Chelsea. Especially ones with as many cocky, deluded fans as Juventus.
  11. Feels like ages until this game. Just want to destroy these cunts.
  12. On November 21st we will know everything. We will have the information we need to know how good we are and if RDM should stay/go. By November 21st we would have faced Arsenal, Tottenham, Man United and Liverpool in the league. In the Champions League we would have faced Juventus and Shakhtar twice. Novemeber 21 is RDM's deadline as far as I am concerned.
  13. Did you forget your medication? What's wrong with you? BTW Lampard should be dropped, no question.
  14. Most people people on this forum are intelligent and this shows through their posts. You're the negative exception.
  15. Wow, just looking at the difference in the lead up to the game on Chelsea and Juventus forums. You could have sworn we are a relegation club not the Champions of Europe. Small club mentality is etched into some of your minds unfortunately. Juve fans are talking about trashing us and here we are in fear, talking about how it will be difficult and must show them respect. lol some of you are acting like Pussies and are down right Embarrassing. On their forums they are talking about our reactions to them and how we are scared. Sheesh enough is enough, I ain't biting my toung to please some idiots on here. Let's play like we know we can and give them a beating. We are a better team with better players. We know that and they know that.
  16. Playing the same personnel could cost RDM his job. He needs to integrate youth into the team. Players like Oscar and Romeu should be top of the list.
  17. Moutinho is more a creative CM and Regista whereas I think we need a strong DM.
  18. To be honest we could have had 3 penalties. All which would have been given any other place (just about) but since its Loftus Road filled with those blood thirsty junkies... Anyway, anyone else find it a bit worrying that he said 'we controlled the game reasonably well'. What game was he watching? We struggled to keep possession when pressed and QPR had more possession. Its a concern that he doesn't see the same problems we do. Again, I ask the question, is he manager material? Time will tell. Let's see how he goes about the next 2 games.
  19. To put it simply, what that QPR game showed and what we will continue to see if we play Ramires and Bertrand on the wing is that Hazard is too fluid to be tied down. He is best when drifting in from/out to the left. With Bertrand and Rambo on the wings it tied Hazard down into the Attacking Midfield position, which although he likes playing, he needs more creative freedom to roam. Rambo and Bertrand obviously won't switch wings, drift around and interchange as they are rigid and functional wingers. Hazard looks more threatning when he is roaming around as his movement is hard to track. He can also be great on the wings. Anyone seeing the trend here? When Hazard is asked to play Solely as an AM or winger he isn't quite as good. When he is allowed the freedom to do both he can be jaw droppingly brilliant. Much like how Oscar drifts around central midfield, Eden drifts around the final third in order to get amongst the action or find different ways and angles of attack. Which defenders to get at. (Do not tie him down, but rather, release the Kraken!) This is why to get the best out of Hazard, 2, even 3 attacking players need to be playing together. It would be desirable if we had a threatning Striker with great movement. I don't think Torres quite brings that so if we got a Cavani/Falcao it would help our attacking players like Hazard quite a lot. At the beginning of the season we were talking about a Hazard and Mata partnership and I think we are realising how important they will both be to one another in order to play at their best. With Oscar (especially), Marin or Moses it would help even more. The fluid movement will make it almost impossible to mark them and Hazard out of the game.
  20. A lot of praise for Moses but I would just about always prefer Oscar in the starting 11 over him. Of course Moses should play when a player is injured or resting or when we are up against a compact opponent or even against Juventus as they play 3 at the back. Also we should bring him on a lot around the 60 minute mark. Unless he does some great stuff I can't see where he would start (Unless Oscar plays in the Pivot).
  21. True. We have Lukaku I guess. Plus the likely possibility of buying a Striker in January. We could buy a midfielder as well but this is all in the future and hypothetical. We'll only face each other twice so it comes down to who has the best starting 11 and who plays the best.
