10 years ago, Qantas used to be the best and safest airline in the world. 10 years on, their a joke. Problem after problem. Engine failure after engine failure. Employee strikes after employee strikes. What happened to our proud flying Kangaroo...I certainly would and will choose Jet Star/Virgin Australia over Qantas anyday. I heard Qantas was close to being closed down recently as well. I just can't see them ever restoring their reputation.
Hazard and Mata will want to play quicker and more attacking. They'll be very important to our team next year so I can see us playing the way they want and would suit their style. It would also suit the fans and Torres. I just see no reason to stick with the way we were playing the 2nd half of the season.
I'll make a bet with you then, that we won't play counter attacking football. Save this post somewhere so you can come back to it after we see what our style will be. Pretty damn sure counter attacking football will be only used against the likes of Barcelona.
LW: Hazard, Mata, KDB, Ramires AM: Hazard, Mata, KDB, Meireles RW: Hazard, Marin, Ramires, Hulk (possibly), Sturridge (when needed). Plenty of options as long as we get Hulk and keep KDB. We only need to buy Hulk and we'll be set.
FFS of course it means nothing. What's he going to tell that kid? "Sorry, no fuck off I won't sign your Chelsea shirt!"...Seriously? He was given stuff to autograph and he did. It means nothing.
In order of preference: Modric, Moutinho, Sahin, Cabaye All of them are very good players and anyone of them would be welcomed. Those are our 4 best realistic options.
I think we should bring in one of Moutinho, Modric, Cabaye or Sahin. Selling Essien as well as Meireles would be prefered but not likely, unfortunately. Actually I'd prefer to keep Meireles over Essien.
Torres has been told he'll be number 1 choice. What's the point of buying a striker to come sit on the bench when we have Sturridge and possibly Hulk? Obviously Roman wants Torres to succeed and will do everything possible to make it happen.
