Too put it bluntly, Lukaku was sent out on loan because he isn't good enough for the first team and won't get the minutes he needs to progress staying at Chelsea. How Jose is getting criticized over this I do not know.

To be fair, you, or I, or anyone here knows why Di Mateo was fired, he wasn't given a fair chance, and the main reason which brought his sacking on was his failure to qualify for the Champions League. Thought Cole and Hazard could have got more joy down the right but Valencia played deep and stifiled Cole, Valencia was poor going forward for me.
