I know United inside out. Most of my family supports them, and I grew up watching them and Chelsea really. I like to think I have an unbiased view on football, and I haven't replied to many of your posts here because quite frankly, I agreed with them. On your post earlier about the squads and what not, In this moment of time, I do feel we have a better squad then you, but in saying that, An overall assesment, player against player of a squad doesn't prove anything. Your defence is better then ours, Our midfield is better then yours, and you edge it on strikers at the minute, If we get Rooney, I think that would change. United's midfield problem isn't near as bad as people make it out to be. They still have Kagawa, Cleverly, Giggs and Michael Carrick who was excellent last year. If I was David Moyes, I would like to add one or two more to that to bolster the numbers. Your defence is strong, with maybe cover for Patrice Evra your only target. Moyes is out of his depth in my opinion, he may prove me wrong but one thing i've noticed is that, Under Ferguson, United's transfer dealings were kept under wraps and no one knew what bids were made and what weren't, Under Moyes, we know everything. I've spoken to lots of United fans about this and alot of them feel the same and are worried about it. I also find the criticism about United last season crazy as they should have knocked out Real Madrid. On Monday's game, I think its going to be a cagey one. Nothing about our performance against Aston Villa would have worried Moyes, But I think the area we can win the game on is our attacking prowess. I think the likes of Hazard, Mata and Oscar, and the options we have off the bench might just be a little too much for United under a new manager. In saying that, I think both managers would take a draw, and that would be my prediction. And De Gea better then Cech? I agree that De Gea had a good season last year and proved alot of his critics wrong, but one good season doesn't make him better then a keeper who has consistently done it at the top level for years and years. Best of luck on Monday, A loss wouldn't end any teams title chances by any means, But I feel its a bigger game for United purely because of the pressure Moyes will be put under if he losses, Hardly fair, but thats football.

Could Willian play in the pivot?
-
We'll see you next week we'll see you next weeeeeekkk

I don't think he's doing that bad, only time Gabby really did him was for the goal. That was enough too though, I suppose.
-
I'm sorry but it wasn't Cahill's fault. Terry should have came out to him. He gave him far too much room.
-
Probably needed to get a second to kill them off but we didn't. We allowed Villa to come more and more into the game. Mata has to do more for me, he's been poor. As has Ramires. Ivanovic got done once by Abonghlar and he made him pay.
-
Well done Ba. Constant pressure on the defence, making room for Hazard and others.
-
We are playing some brilliant stuff. Completely in control.
-
Get in there! Oh Eden!
-
Villa's high line will allow Ba to get in behind, thats the thinking for Ba starting. Torres is prone to coming deep and Lukaku plays with his back to goal.
-
Looks like Mata, but I'd imagine they'll interchange.
-
Can't see Mata lasting the full 90, especially with United on Monday.
-
Guys, Arsenal have started the midfield three of Ramsey, Wilshere and Roiscky again. Thats it, Wenger has gone completely mental. Fernanbance to take a two goal lead to the Emirates!

Good post. Don't think Schurle will start against United though, think he'll be brought on. Can see Jose going with either Oscar or KDB on the right, as both will be able to drop back and help out the middle, which is an area we can dominate v United. Kudo's if you call it right though, I think Schurrle just offers that little more end product then Moses, but I'd like us to keep hold of Moses, proved last season he's a great squad player.
-
Great to see Mata starting, hopefully he'll score, lift up his shirt with the message "LOL at Moyes thinking he could sign me"
-
Lukaku should have started etc is questioning the manager. I'm not picking a fight, I'm just saying judge the team selection after the game. Ba is a good front man aswell, and lets be fair, its just fantastic not to see Torres on the starting eleven or the bench. That cancer is finally getting out of our club.
-
Hope to see the Mazcar of last season under RDM, with about a million back heels.
-
Because he gives us the best chance of winning the game? Ba is more experienced then Lukaku. How about we all have a little bit of fucking faith in the manager for once and respect his decision? He gets paid to pick the team, not us.
-
As good as Lukaku is, I don't think he's the right man to lead our line this season. Still a season or two too soon for him. He isn't going to go from West Brom super sub to starting for a team challenging for the title.
-
Cudicini Johnsen - Desailly - Carvalho - Harris Di Mateo - Wise Gronkjaer - Zola - Nevin Gudjohnsen
-
Joses record against them is poor, Lets hope we can put that right tonight, and go top of the table in style.
-
I hope the Chelsea team aren't underestimating Villa like fans are on here. Very very dangerous team. Would love to see Van Ginkle start though, think Villa are the sort of team where he could dominate the midfield.
-
This is a huge game imo. Villa really improved towards the end of last season and are a decent side. Benteke staying is a huge plus too them and Gabby Abonghlar on his day is unplayabe. They'll finish in the top half this year, guarantee it. Still fancy us to just have too much for them. If this was at Villa park I'd go for a draw, but being at home I can see us winning in a classic 3-2. The double pivot must press their midfield though, its vital, as it doesn't take a genius to figure out that Arsenal's midfield three of Wilshere, Ramsey and Roiscky lost them the game. They allowed Villa far far too much time when they had the ball and they just had to pick a pass. Whoever Jose goes with up front, be it Torres, Lukaku or Ba must lead the line well, and put constant pressure on the Villa defence.
-
Think we'll line up with Cech Cesar - Cahill - Terry - Cole Ramires - Lampard Mata - Oscar - Hazard Lukaku

We started like a train in previous seasons and came up short. A 4-0 home win to Newcastle isn't going to win you the league!
