This forum is completly overrating Bale, hasn't been very good since the second Inter game tbh.

Ivanovic can help with Bale and Essien or Mikel can cover for him.

There is no way we can start Lampard ffs, He hasn't played a game of Football in months and we can't just throw him into the deep end like that. Our best bet is to bring him on around the 60th minute mark, If its still a draw by then, We should get a big boost, Confidence will grow and hopefully we'll play better. I'd like to see us go for Cech Ferriera - Ivan - Terry - Cole Ramires - Mikel - Essien Anelka - Drogba - Malouda Lampard for Mikel if needs be. Its time for Drogba, Anelka, Malouda and Ramires to step the fuck up.

We're falling apart. Josh was our only decent player, Drogba seemed more interested in the Marsielle fans then he did the match, I hope he fucks off in the summer, Nothing like what he was last season, and without a decent frontman were fucked.

What are you smoking then? You are suggesting that we leave Drogba off for Sturridge? Or Anelka for Kakuta? Kakuta has got a few chances and hasn't done anything extraordinary with them this season. This is our biggest game of the season so far so we need our best players, With attackers we need players that pose a threat of scoring goals. I can't imagine Assou-Ekotto would be too worried about coming up against Kakuta, Nor would Gallas and King be of coming up against Sturridge. Saying that I would bring Sturridge on depending how the game is going. If we're down, Put him on for Mikel and push Malouda back into midfield, If we're drawing or winning, Straight stop with Anelka.

Everton are going through a terrible run, In bad form or good form, This is a disapointing result, In the run of form we're in, Its a disater.

Kakuta and Sturridge are NOT the answer to everything. Put Kakuta up against that horrible cunt Phil Neville and he'll be lucky to walk off the pitch. Everton are going to be very physical, especially at the back which is why Anelka's presence will be a good thing, Maybe he does slow things down but in the last few games we have rushed our attack from midfield to forwards and ends up with us losing the ball. Anelka is cool and composed which is something we need right now.

Cech Bosingwa - Terry - Ivanovic - Cole Essien - Mikel - Malouda Anelka - Drogba - Sturridge would love to see that.

We need Sturridge on for Anelka, He's been shite and has no urgency, atleast Sturridge will be hungry.

Enjoyable game for me tonight, Its not often lately that we see Chelsea with that much posesstion, and we used it tbf, We didn't have Lampard or Essien driving forward, Drogba still not back to his best. McEachran was poor I thought in the first half being honest, He gave away the ball too many times, One ridiclous pass where he completly underhit it and it went straight to the opposition springs to mind, But he really came into his own in the second half. He did exactly why I thought the holding role would suit him, He stayed behind, Sprayed the ball around, and was cool and composed. Drogba was always a presense tonight, He might not have done much on the ball throughout the game, But he was keeping the defenders busy and really created the room for Sturridge to work with. Ramires was decent in the second half, Hope to see more of the same. Bar the first goal Bruma was good and PvA could have been our man of the match, Reminded me of Ashley Cole, what a strike he hit! Sturridge was outstanding, I just wished sometimes he'd look up before lashing a shot. Only downside, Kakuta. He was poor. He hit one or two good balls but seemed out of his depth and afraid to take his man on like he does for the reserves. Hope this problem is addressed soon. Don't think anyone can really complain about the game, We were praying for our youngsters for sometime now, and with 5 of them in the side we beat the Slovakian Champions. Not much, buts its a start.

Great pace on the wings, Hopefully Kakuta and Sturridge show what there about, Kakuta was unfortunate that when he started against Marsielle all our attacks came down from the right hand side with him playing on the left, So this is his chance to shine. McEacharn will be playing the Holding role but thats no harm IMO, nothing says he can't attack and alot of the time he'll be in space to spread the ball around the place, Nice position to have in an easy game like this where he won't be pressed. Looking forward to the game, expect McEachran to be on the ball alot. KTBFFH

Don't see anything wrong with Josh in the holding role, He can get the ball and dicate the play. He can get forward aswell, But I think it will suit him, like the Pirlo role. Kakuta needs to take his man down the line and skin him.

Bounce back time, Hopefully the lads but Sunday behind them, lets be realistic Anfield is never an easy place to win if your a top club no matter where Liverpool are in the league. Perfect game tbh, I'd like to see Cech Bosingwa - Terry - Alex - Cole Ramieres - Mikel - Malouda Sturridge - Drogba - Kakuta Lets give Anelka and Zhirkov a rest, they had poor games on Sunday and its a good chance for Sturridge and Kakuta to establish them as potential first team starters. Onwards and Upwords, Carefree!

What the fuck are you on about?

Tbf lads, We have been through a bad patch that every team will go through, If this is the end of it which I expect it is, We have taken 6 points from 9 out of it. Not bad. We had 65% of posession, I think this shows that we need a creative midfield player. I'm sorry but todays performances proves that Zhirkov should never be played in centre midfield, Kalou should be used as an Impact sub and Terry (not for the first time) is exposed for pace. But onwards and upwards.

Points are points, and i'll take that over the performance everytime. KTBFFH
