I hope to god not. This could be one of the biggest games of the season, I think our goal now should be 3rd or 4th anything else will be a big bonus. I don't really want Arsenal to succeed, but I hope they make the top four this year, obviously not at our expense, but at spurs. It would be a massive boost if we could beat them, spurs must not get a CL place this season. Not the match to try new things, stick to Drogba, stick to deep line, stick to Romeu and by god, please do not sub on a combination of malouda/mikel/kalou.

Given Andre' recent buys I'm not too concerned if we do get him. I personally don't think he's a top class player at the moment, like someone said above, average in every aspect. We don't really need more of these types of players, I think we need creative/passing specialist like Modric, Xavi, etc (though not those exact players obviously). If it was up to me, I'd go for Montolivo who will be available on a free, and I'm sure could be motivated to come here for various reasons. But it's now up to AVB and his scouting team and if they obviously see something that we don't, I'd say go for it.

I just don't quite understand why he doesn't get gametime. If he's not good enough to play against Wigan or teams of similar quality then what's the point of keeping him? Sell him to a lower table team where he will likely be a starter regularly. I really hate it when young players don't get game time I really do, and I can't see why he can't play when Cole is tired/barely gets a rest.

A lot of those are very good players and some might even be grouped as world class He would do well to reach that level, let alone any higher

It's not so much the result. Notice that nobody is blaming Cech or calling him insults post match. Because we all know that accidents happen, even if it cost us the three points we are not slagging him off. This match is not like the Manu, Arsenal and Liverpool game. After the QPR game I was so extremely proud even though we lost. You could just see that passion, desire and workrate from players like Cole, JT, Lampard, Ivanovic, Luiz in the second half. But against Wigan it was non-existent. Why should we not slag off players when they simply don't give a fck. If you're not even going to try then as you say "Fuk u" mate, give players like Bertrand, Josh a chance.

It's not that he's a bad player although he has many flaws, but to compare him to messi is silly. There are only a select few at the moment who can be compared (RVP, Robben, Ronaldo, Ribery, Silva, Iniesta, Aguero) in terms of ability. Neymar is also steps below the level of Mata, Sturridge, Rooney, Nani, Hazard, Di Maria etc

The lack of Sturridge praising from the media does not please me. If this was United he would probably be the next Fat Ronaldo or the re-incarnation of Pele.
