Players in the range of 30-50m come with the expectation of being a full package. Who knew that little poor Torres could only run onto throughballs and tap them in? Oh, he can't play with lampard, malouda is so greedy, etc. Are you seriously saying he is that limited? Because he isnt. The player I saw at Liverpool could do almost anything he wanted, at a team inferior to ours. Not too far from Ronaldo either. You treat him like he's some mediocre rotation player. Let's just wait and support him with our best effort until the transfer window/summer. He is going to have his chance, against Wigan I reckon, and he will have to step up. Simple as that. I honestly doubt that he will leave in January either(in fact, I'm 80% confident he won't, even though that might leave us with less money should he flop further).

It's one of the only positives from the entire transfer tbf (the face, not the banner)

Winning football is best football. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how you get the points. If AVB is half as smart as I give him credit for, he should have realized by now. He is the manager and not roman. Deep defensive line = the key forward

Maybe because "Toy" is broken

In that case: ------------Romeu--------- -----mikel------malouda I'd personally go with: ------------mikel---------- ----malouda-----Mceachran But I get the feeling AVB doesn't (yet) rate McEachran.
-
I notice Roma are 10th in Seria A. How is his form? I know we have Romeu, who is magnificent, but a swap for Mikel wouldn't be a bad deal. I seriously reckon Mikel would be a fantastic player in their league.
-
Adam hasn't done too poorly has he? Henderson on the other hand... Maybe Lampard, Mikel and McEachran in midfield? Or Lampard, Mikel and Romeu. Or possibly even Malouda over Romeu. We should not risk Meireles or Ramires if they are just one card away.

Maybe cause we splashed 50m and he played an entire 8 minutes in all three games combined

Andre Villas Boas arrested for assault BREAKING NEWS

Vincent Kompany has been rushed to the hospital after Chelsea beat Manchester City at Stamford Bridge. It is not yet known what is wrong with Kompany, however the club officials can confirm that he is in a state of shock. "When a football is in sight, he loses balance and goes to the floor" the spokesperson explained. "He then proceeds to repeat the words "One Mater" over and over as if trying to recall the incident that caused the trauma". -
He will surprass Silva. What a player, just fabulous. I don't think he's even playing in his proper position. Give him more time to settle and fully develop, will be a top five in the world player.
-
Yeah, I'd fancy Wigan to put 6 past us.

Mata is not a winger. He's a n10

At the rate he's going, his value will likely plummet to 10m come summer, we can't really wait that long if we are planning to get rid and get something decent in return. My favorite part of Torres failure (not that it's a good thing) is how many people say "he can't play with x player, he can only play with y player". He cost 50m, he should be able to play with Turnbull and Hilario as outfield players if he has to. He is comletely bereft of confidence, he just cannot do anything correctly, even simple dribbles, and yet lampard and malouda take all the blame for some reason. His form is down to him alone and his inability to perform at a good level

There is no right answer here IMO. On one hand, we have to recover something, and while 20m would be a big loss of our investment, it's better than nothing and 180k per week down the drain. On the other, we have one of the best strikers in the world who hasn't been himself over a year... Lack of confidence, injuries, or does the expression "form is temporary, class is permanent" lack sense? Has he lost it? Do we risk losing him on a free/low fee in a few years? I honestly dont know. The biggest mistake was signing him in the first place. Right now Aguero should have been playing at SB.
-
He's possibly just showing respect for Sturridge. Obviously it was a crime that they let him leave, but now they have a fabulous team and won't mourn too much over the loss. Mancini always struck me as a very classy manager unlike his cnut neighbor.
-
In the first 20mins we were higher than Mt. Everest out there, and I rightly called AVB a tit for his tactical selection.
-
Dunno, but any manager that can't see that we can't play a high line with JT and Ivanovic after half a season should never be a manager of one of the top european clubs.
-
Romeu needs a rest. Hes very young and playing too many games will limit his development. I reckon Mikel will do a job against Wigan anyway. Hope we absolutely smash them in the first half so we can lead 3-0. In the second we can take it easy (but obviously not too over complacent, get the job done) to prepare for Spuds.

I'm not sure Yaya being banned will do us any good. Watch the Meireles goal, the lazy fcuker strolls around the edge of the box when Meireles makes his run. Hilarious, especially as he can fully see that Meireles is going into the box unmarked, but doesnt even care.

I felt sooooooooooo embarrassed for you when I read this. Yeah, thats why he deserves to start in the Tottenham and big games. But these lineups are clearly on what we hope to be our FUTURE. Or do you you think we have Hazard in our squad at the moment too?
-
"How thick are they? Players too for that matter. They actually think they "won" and now have a chance to catch us. They have no clue that clattenburg was acting on orders to reduce our lead at the top to assist the rags, Atkinson dd it at anfield.chelsea and Liverpool aren't going to get anywhere near us so gifting them points won't serve the agenda, it only serves to allow the rags to catch up . I knew the FA were worried about us when I saw the fixture schedule, the Christmas programme and the games following the champions league games but whilst of course going out of that cup our league form has not abated so something had to be done. Enter the rag refs. People may say "what's he on about" but I'm right. I watch us week in and week out and we are a formidable side and the ONLY way we'll drop points is to be cheated. We were cheated at fulham, we were cheated at anfield and we were cheated last night. My only criticism of our team is we have to put away any chances we get, not for goal difference but to ensure that whatever the rags ref does we are too far out of sight for it to matter. Good luck Chelsea with your hollow victory but you've been played, you were just pawns in the game of the television ratings game, the rags simply have to win stuff and be there or there abouts to keep the asia market tuning in. Enjoy your top four finish cos that's where you'll end up, clattenburg and his colleges have an agenda and you and us are not a part of it. The difference is we can smash that agenda if we stay strong, you're not good enough with or without help." Some more gold from Bluemoon. City fans on Chelsea and a conspiracy to bring them down. :541:

http://www.dailymail...st-Everton.html Where do they get these prices from? How is some reserve team player who played three first team matches and a) gave away penalty and b. did not do anything of significance, worth 20m?
-
I don't really like those. Ideal situation would be: --sturridge-----mata---------hazard --------------torres-------------------- If he could rediscover his ACTUAL form from his early Liverpool days, we would be great.

How Kompany and Toure were still on the field come FT is one of the greatest mysteries in life.
