Mata is finished as a Chelsea player. Such a shame because he has been world class for us and behaves in a dignified manner when representing Chelsea in the public eye. A model for young fans and players alike. I can't pretend to be forgiving of the way Jose is treating Juan but if his plans do not include Mata then so be it. I would rather see Jose impliment his ideals and philosophies with the players he choses rather than try to work with players he doesn't feel are right for the future of the club. I begrudgingly say, sell for the maximum price we can push for!

Nobody doubts Franks goalscoring ability. It's everytjing else we doubt now with his age playing a big factor. Wake up Frank is a Legend at Chelsea but we are in the present day and today we need to win a game. So you play the best player to fit the team not a player becuase of his status at the club.

After all the time you have spent on this forum and searching football rumour mills you still bother to read givemesport and take something serious from their 'dribbles'.

Ferdinand did have a monster season and Carrick natured into a semi world class player lool. Having said that though without RVP scoring volleys from every angle known to man they would not have won the league in my opinion.

I read a trash article on how Spurs dodged a bullet not signing Willian.. it then went on to say that he hasn't assisted once sinse his arrival and that was when I realised a Spurs fan had written the article. I won't bother to post that shyte here because it isn't worth your time reading it. I do expect a lot more from Willian but not this season. Next year he will have to prove he is worth the millions we paid for him. If he can do it this year then great but not really fussed and have seen some glimpses of the Willian from Shaktar.

Well said! When all is said done this is an English club situated in England and I feel people should accept that piss taking is part of the English humour. As long as it isn't over the top I can't see why a bit of banter should be deemed unacceptable. People are just too sensitive it seems. Wether these people like it or not , football has and will always have insulting and piss taking banter involved. It's all part and parcel of the rivalry and it's competitive nature. That's not to say direct racist or personal abuse should be accepted on this forum or in general everyday life but calling someone a sheep shagger because they are Welsh or an Scottsman a jock wanker then that really is harmless in my opinion. Actually now I'm talking and thinking about it, it's a pretty thin line drawn to deem what is and what isn't acceptable. Nobody said it was the most important aspect of club support but yes it does play a huge factor to helping the team when playing.

In my eyes it really isn't a tought decision to make at all. Cech is past his prime and we have the best young goalkeeper in the world waiting to take his place for next season. No problems just a simple freshen up in the goalkeeper position. No dount we will somehow find every excuse in the book to keep a past his prime Cech in goal for sentimental reasons and keep an angry Courtois at the club hanging by a thread!
