The title of this thread should have been, 'Can we devolp David Luiz into a defensive midfielder' and the the answer would be..... YES WE CAN!!! I have no idea why anyone would be against him playing in that role. He has the perfect game to suit the pivot and that has been obvious for ages. People say he can't play there for the most ridiculous reasons, in fact reasons of such stupidity I care not to remember them.

Drop Hazard, drop Lamps, drop Cech and tell Luiz it's his last game for us if he doesn't defend like a beast :-)

I can't see why we shouldn't try Kevin in Lampards position... he can't be any worse than what Lampard has been in recent mathes.

At first I felt startig Frank would be a mistake defensively but we know that Jose will set up with a 'low block'. So there shouldn't be huge ground for him to cover if we are tight and compact in the middle and both wingers loading up with our fullback's. His experience could be vital in terms of decision making on the ball. Though having said that, Mikel could do a job next to rami. I just hope Rami doesn't go and get booked early on. Then we will struggle in midfield.
