  1. He will be if he stays a Chelsea player. There is no doubt about that.
  2. Because it's Barca. I wonder how good it must feel supporting that club whilst Messi has played there. Could you imagine their forum TalkBarca. They would have literally nothing to moan about, unlike us.
  3. It won't be hilarious for the young kids who have season tickets and want to watch that game.
  4. Why do people not rate this guy? He is pretty decent i.m.o. Yea he is abit raw but harness his abilities and we have a real player on our hands. In a time when wingbacks are the one of the most important positions in football, it makes sense to keep a player like Kenedy in our ranks.
  5. I guess you make a good point. I can't even remember what we are debating now, I am that tired from work. 😒
  6. Luis Figo won a lot more in football than what Eden has won in his current career. Figo even won the Ballon D'or during a time when football was littered with top teir talents from all over Europe. I think their is a just case when questioning Edens mentality to become the very best and turn up on the biggest stage in European football. What can't be questioned is his commitment.
  7. My feelings and the feeling I get from some of the fans who are posting in here think that if he is criticised for his mentality (which is totaly fair in my opinion) then that person who is criticising is deemed crazy for thinking such. He is only being criticised for his goal contribution when measured against the very best in the World. His overall contribution as a footballer is second to none at league level. He is yet to truly deliver on the World stage (CL). I am sure there are few who can drag up something to prove me wrong.
  8. Exactly my thoughts too. I have always had a soft spot for Juve. Watching Del Piero and Nedved growing up. I was always Del Piero in the school playground. If we go out, which is highly possible then I too will root for the Italians to win it. P.S. Alegri made some brilliant subs to turn that game around.
  9. We all hold Hazard in high regard here and he isn't exactly recieving an insulting level of criticism.
  10. No you're right you can't really compare the two situations as Barca are a far more fluid team whereas we were set up to stay rigid and firm. I don't know, I guess over the years I have grown accustomed to Edens high standards and take his contribution for granted in many ways. I just want him to fullfill his potential whilst playing for us. A dream at best.
  11. To be honest bro, yes we do expect him to act out a big fuck you to Conte when he sets the team out to play in such a negitive way against a City that obviously needs pressing as shown by Liverpool. The very best of the best (players) drag their team out of bad situations. I'm not saying Eden hasn't becasue he we are forever in his debt for the times he has done. Although I really don't think Eden does enough to claim a stake in the top 5 players in the World. Not yet. I think that is mostly because he has been playing in such a defensviely set team and yes if he goes to Madrid or Barca he would definitely produce more but If you watch Messi play the false 9 role, he does drop very deep to start plays off when Barca are playing badly. He even does it when playing well. I personally think Eden should be left on the wing where he is most effective.
  12. I agree ^^ The day I see a fan from Belgium direct any kind of negitive criticism towards Eden is the day I become a billionaire owner of Chelsea.
  13. I'd rather a Pep or a Fergie and win countless trophies playing exciting football with a team that is solid all over the park rather than watch 1 man struggle to carry a team to the odd trophy here and there whilst playing dogshit footy.
  14. And watch him win the Champions League with that team.
  15. Conte handled the Costa situatiom exactly how he should have, like a boss. Costa was acting like a child. He got put in his place and instead of acting like a man and taking it on the chin (like Luiz) he sulked until he got his move. The sad thing is with this club is that it doesn't take much to lose the dressing room. At the first sign of a season going bad the players act like a bunch of girls and start throwing their toys out the pram.
  16. It feels as if everything I watch in relation to football this year results in the worse possible out come. I might just stop watching until the end of the season.
  17. Pogba and Sanchez have been awful. Sanchez has lost the ball 19 times in the first half. Loool
  18. No, he will be remembered for winning the league in his FIRST season with a bunch of overpaid Z list celebraties, who then fell out with the board. Only the 🤡s who support this club will pin Edens departure on Conte.
  19. Never an aprovenent but most certainly expected him to fill a void. We were wrong to think so.
  20. It wouldn't surprise me if Arsenal sack Wenger and we offer him 15m a year to make us play 'pretty football' to rival Peps City.
  21. Nobody and I mean not one fan would begrudge Eden for leaving after sticking by us through the painstaking football he has to endure year after year. We could have built something truly special around this guy. Some of you may call me crazy for saying that we have not done great things with Eden because he has titles in his cabinet... but it really could have been more, sooo much more. Good luck in your next adventure Eden.
  22. I can. I'm surprised you forget how he carried us for most of last season. When he stopped playing in the last quarter of the season, our results started to reflect his form.
