  1. Since when is someone like Kovacic more proven than Cuadrado? What a ridiculous thing to say. I like Kovacic and rate him highly but still.
  2. I laugh at the people saying he made a stupid decision to join RM. If the club is mad enough to commit to paying a 16 year old kid 65-80k a week for who knows how many years, he and his family will be set for life even if he breaks his leg in the next training session and never plays a senior football match again. Had he gone to Ajax or some other club known for being good with youngsters he would now be in an environment better suited for his development as a player but at 16 it's still way too early to say if he would still ever make it to actually be good enough for that kind of money and I'm 100% sure the kid would one day regret not going to Real Madrid if he never developed good enough for the big leagues and was stuck playing Eredivisie level football on peanut wages at his peak. We see these hyped youngsters all the time and most of them don't ever even peak at the level where they can earn themselves a five year contract worth around €20m total. Even if things don't work out for him at Real Madrid he can still become one hell of a player because in say three years from now he'll only be 19 and that's pretty much the age people usually just enter the world of first team football at top level. He'll have earned a fortune by then and if he wants I'm sure a club like Ajax would still welcome him with open arms. If a transfer in football can ever be called a no-brainer from the player's perspective it's this one.
  3. Yep, saying exactly the same things as he did before Mata, Luiz and Torres left the club. Not directly admitting the players are in his opinion not good enough and are about to be sold but not denying it either.Personally I've not yet given up on Schürrle and hope he stays but Salah going and being replaced by Cuadrado sounds good to me.
  4. That post is far too sensible to be a part of this discussion. [emoji14] I agree with you on everything, was just laughing at how the media report these transfer stories.
  5. So in a matter of days we've gone from Messi to Reus to Cuadrado to Costa and finally to Valencia? What next, we decide against buying anyone and recall the mighty Marko Marin?
  6. Saying goodbye to the fans by scoring a penalty goal just before a transfer?
  7. FM legend, must be good. Sign him up Jose.
  8. If I'm not mistaken it will go to extra time but after ET the team with more away goals goes through. If level on away goals at 120 minutes, then penalties.
  9. Good looking logo, an excellent payout if it's anywhere near the rumoured £40m mark and not by any means controversial like City or PSG sponsors. No idea why some people are still not happy. Just because it's not some super trendy brand like Apple or Google some would have creamed their pants for doesn't mean it's not good.
  10. ^ I'd take Cuadrado at the club any time, excellent little player.
  11. Come on Chelsea, give me a nice birthday present.
  12. "Chelsea Kulübü'ne yakın bir kaynak olan Talkchelsea.net'te yazılan bir habere göre Chelsea ile THY'nin forma sponsorluğu rafa kalkmak üzere. Chelsea'nin daha önceden sponsorluğu bulunan Delta Havayolları kulübün gelecek sezonki forma sponsoru olabilir. Türk Hava Yolları ise gelecek yıl yan sponsor olarak Chelsea'nin destekçisi olacak." They did. No idea what it says there but TC is mentioned.
  13. Not sure if that just means you're clueless or if it really is a relatively unknown company. Something in the world of finance would be my guess. A bank, an insurance company or something along those lines. United had AIG and AON while Liverpool have Standard Chartered. All companies the average person does not really know that well but all definitely have the money and their logo can look good on a shirt.
  14. Didn't know Benfica were based in Turkey.
  15. Di Marzio was saying earlier that Chelsea, together with Leicester, were still very much a part of the negotiations for Kramaric and if that's true I believe there could be a first option or a fixed buy-out clause for us to get him in the near future if he proves to be successful at Leicester and if not, the club haven't lost any money either way. Sounds good to me.
  16. Much like Lampard his public image used to be spotless and because of that people have always considered him a nice guy but the reality seems to be something else entirely. Don't know whether being the best player in the world changed him at some point or if he has always been like that behind the scenes but judging by reports from the last few years he really is a cunt of the highest order. Either way I'd still take him any day if it was a serious option but as of yet I'm far from being convinced that it is. Over the course of next few weeks we will see Luis Enrique sacked and replaced by some puppet who Messi has agreed to work with and before summer Messi will also be getting his annual contract extension with higher wages than before. We all know that's what is going to happen here so don't get your hopes up, lads.
  17. Muppet season has officially begun.
  18. He was part of our squad but he didn't play. It's much like in the CL, a player can be registered to the squad but he only gets cup tied when he plays so in this case Torres has only represented Milan this season and is free to play for another club should he make a move in January. Will be interesting to see how the deal works out for us if he indeed does go back to Atletico. Another loan to June 2016 or a permanent transfer?
  19. True, and if they can survive the games against Spurs and Newcastle without picking up yellow cards they're both free to get themselves suspended for the League Cup game in which they would probably not feature either way. I think we could manage Derby with Ramires and Mikel / Ake in the pivot.
  20. Does anyone still think it was a bad idea to bring him back? Fantastic option to have on the bench.
  21. Did Costa get injured again? He signalled to the bench that he wanted to go off and walked straight down the tunnel after doing so. Either he was feeling some discomfort in his hamstring again or he didn't want to keep on playing and didn't even bother to stick around to watch the rest of the game.
  22. Salah would be my guess. I don't think Besiktas could afford to buy him though, so if a deal has been agreed it's probably going to be a loan.
