Yep, pretty obvious the age is finally catching up to him and he hasn't been able to recover the same form after the holidays. Maybe he just needs some training and preparation to play at a high level once more or maybe he'll never be the JT of last season again but regardless it's clear we need to sign someone and fast because Ivanovic has turned shit over the summer as well.
-
Three points, a debut goal for Pedro and an opening goal for Diego Costa this season. Pretty happy with that but there's A LOT of room for improvement, the defense is horrible at the moment and central midfield is not really working either. Terry and Ivanovic look like they're still on their summer holidays and Matic hasn't been himself either. For the first two it might be the age catching up to them and they need more rest to perform as good as we know they can, which is where Baba and the potential Stones signing come in, but what's going on with Matic?

Before reading Tancredi's tweet = cock fully hard thinking about Pogba at Chelsea. After Tancredi, not so much.
-
Well duh, I can read Wikipedia enough to know he's a kid who plays for Monaco and scored a few goals last season but what it doesn't tell me is why a player as unproven as him should cost €55M. Hasn't made his international debut yet and wasn't even a guaranteed starter for a mediocre Monaco side that had a 34-year-old Dimitar Berbatov as their main striker last season so what's so special about him? The prices for players like this guy, John Stones etc. are getting out of hand.
-
Good signing, proven winner with the right mentality and a type of player that should fit Mourinho's needs pretty well.
-
Sorry for my ignorance but who is this guy?
-
I don't see why there wouldn't be room for both. Matic-Cesc-Witsel-Aranguiz to rotate deeper midfield positions and I'd bet Fabregas to often play AM as well so there would probably be more than enough minutes for Ramires too.
-
Been wanting Witsel at the club for some years now, gave up hope when he joined Zenit but would be great if it finally happened.
-
Good signing, it's nice to have a quality replacement for Cech as number two so we still don't have to worry if Courtois gets injured. Begovic is a keeper we can easily trust to get between the sticks even in high stakes games.
-
Believe me, I'm certainly not the one who's not seeing the bigger picture here.
-
Maybe to you, but not to the people who actually matter.
-
Yeah, let's do that. I already agreed with you that Cuadrado is going nowhere but my reasons for that assumption are based entirely on the fact he was a huge €30M investment by the club who should, and most likely will be, given at least a full year with proper pre-season preparation to show us his qualities. Your reason was that he appears on the scetch cover of a video game that will be released later this year. Now, which of these arguments sounds more sensible from the perspective of board members at one of the biggest football clubs in the world who decide what to do with Cuadrado's future?
-
I knew you'd say that lol.Just admit it, your point was already proven wrong.
-
Yeah, like they knew Spurs wouldn't sell Bale two years ago when they had him on the cover with a Spurs kit? Before: http://images.eurogamer.net/2013/articles/1/6/1/2/3/5/8/137811472722.jpg After: http://images.eurogamer.net/2013/articles/1/6/1/2/3/5/8/137889327351.jpg/EG11/resize/600x-1/quality/80/format/jpg These things matter very little when it comes to the bigger picture. If he does get sold, they'll just change the cover star to another Chelsea player or Cuadrado with the shirt of his new club. The game won't be released until late September or early October anyway so they'll have plenty of time to make the change if needed.
-
I don't think Cuadrado's going anywhere either but evwn suggesting it has something to do with the fact he's wearing a Chelsea shirt on the regional FIFA16 cover somewhere around the world is beyond ridiculous. I'm pretty sure things like that are on the bottom of the club's priorities when considering whether to sell him or not.
-
Haven't really watched Barca lately but I'd take the Pedro of a couple years back without thinking twice. Even if his form has been bad recently, it's understandable because he hasn't been playing regularly enough. Just think Cesc at Barca and then at Chelsea, huge difference.
-
Yeah, I'm sure that pissing off EA is the biggest concern when it comes to a potential £30M transfer.
-
Fantastic signing for them, will be interesting to see him in the PL. Can't wait for the new season, United and maybe even Arsenal will be right up there trying to challenge us for the title and can't underestimate City either even though they haven't really improved their squad yet.
-
Isn't the article suggesting he's heading back to Santos and not Chelsea?

Had a wonderful time last week on a student trip to Northern Finland. Did some skiing, the booze was flowing and I got to know some interesting new people as well as saw some of my older friends after a long time. Just one thing, on my last day there I managed to fuck up my ankle ligaments pretty badly when climbing down some stairs and it hurts like hell, had a doctor's appointment earlier today and he recommended I get an MRI scan later this week to get a better idea on how bad it really is and whether a surgery is needed. All this just a week after my spring semester at the uni had ended and I was supposed to go to work and earn me some money. Fuck my life.
-
Well now I'm confused as fuck. Earlier on my phone I clearly saw white and gold but on my laptop I see black and blue. Now I looked at it again on my phone and it's fucking blue, what is this sorcery?
-
Now that's some proper illuminati shit right there, I won't believe it until I've heard a verdict from the Woodfurnace himself.
-
The fuck, how can anyone see blue and black there? Sorry to be the one to break you the news but you're as blind as Stevie Wonder.
-
Just 'Yokohama' on the shirt, not the full name.
