  1. Frank just entered the stage with our trophy.
  2. Now they're saying Tottenham have had a bid rejected by Marseille. AVB you fucking lying cunt.
  3. Recap from Munich, what a fantastic way to start the draw.
  4. Not surprised to see that they are looking to buy a new goalkeeper sometime in the future. Victor Valdes is simply not good enough to be playing at a club of Barcelona's level and never has been. If they are not in complete control of the games, Valdes will keep costing them a lot of important matches. Having that clueless cunt between the sticks has worked out fine for them so far when their other players have been so good that the keeper doesn't even get properly tested in most games but I suspect that is about to change now that Guardiola is gone. They can keep their filthy Catalan hands off Courtois though. Maybe if they let us have Messi then we'll talk, but otherwise they can fuck off. I just hope that Thibaut is patient enough to wait around for his opportunity to take over Cech. That's probably not going to happen for at least a couple of years and he could be seeking a move to somewhere else sooner than that because he is already good enough to start at most top clubs. But why would he have joined Chelsea in the first place if he wasn't willing to be patient because he knew full well that Cech is only 30 and he can still keep going for a few years? Also making it at Chelsea could be more appealing to him than some other club because we have a lot of his Belgian mates at the club.
  5. That is for all competitions. Pato has played 42 + 30 + 33 + 18 games in the last four seasons, averaging 30,75 / season. Iniesta is at 48,0 and Ronaldo at 46,75. All this is from wikipedia so there may be something wrong with the numbers, but you'll get the idea. Personally I wouldn't go as far as call Remy an injury-prone player because since moving to Nice where he first started getting regular first-team football, he has played 29-34 games in the league every season. Injury prone players don't play that much.
  6. @, I just noticed that you have made a mistake with the seedings. I can't see Tottenham there, can you please tell me which pot they are in?
  7. Mata has something better than Torres to comfort him.
  8. RDM: "Benayoun, Malouda and Marin haven't travelled, everybody else is here" Must mean that Benayoun and Malouda are close to leaving the club before the window closes.
  9. AVB at Spurs press conference: "Loic Remy is not joining Spurs" Let's hope he's not bullshitting us and they have indeed dropped out of the race. They have only recently bought Adebayor and today they also extended Defoe's contract so maybe they are not in the market for a striker after all. Can't see Man City signing him either after agreeing a fee for Sinclair earlier today so if Spurs are out that leaves only Chelsea or stay at Marseille. Having followed the speculation surrounding Azpilicueta's transfer I know that Marseille need the money and they could be tempted to sell him to us even at a cut price if no one else is interested.
  10. Surely he's going to QPR. Who isn't these days?
  11. To be fair Michu from Swansea deserves player of the month too. If he gets it instead of Hazard, I would understand but anyone else would be ridiculous.
  12. We are certain to avoid City because they can't be drawn against another team from England.
  13. As things stand right now, Hodgson has called up all the Chelsea boys (Terry, Cahill, Cole, Bertrand, Lampard and Sturridge) to start England's qualifying campaign. 6 Chelsea players out of 24 in the squad is nice. No other club has any more than three of their players included.
  14. Granero would be a great signing for them but Hughes' transfer policy has been nothing short of ridiculous. That is nothing new of course, considering what he did at Man City. Hell, they're still trying to get rid of the deadwood Hughes brought to the club and because of their absurd wages they won't attract any interest. City have players like Bridge, Santa Cruz on +100k a week playing for their reserves and they haven't got a game at City for years now. QPR have now got a lot of has-beens from top clubs and all of them are on too high wages for a club like QPR. Also getting Rob Green to play as their first choice GK, and then get a proper top class keeper like Julio Cesar two games later can't do any good for their squad harmony. Everyone gets promised a shitload of money and a guaranteed place in the starting lineup but then they move on and get half a dozen more new players to play in that exact same position and someone is bound to be unhappy. Would love to see that club get relegated now.
  15. Schalke, Lille and Dinamo Zagreb for our group, please! For everyone else I want their groups to be as hard as possible, something like Barcelona, Manchester City, Juventus, Dortmund would be great.
  16. Wow, that guy really put some effort in answering those questions and I think it's safe to say that this is the best 'opposition views' thingy ever.
  17. A decent start for my team so far with 167 points and fifth place in the TC League. Had to make three or four transfers for next round because of some injuries and Chelsea not playing. At least my team's value seems to be going up every time I log into the site. I had Tevez, Hazard and Michu from day one and their prices have increased by 0,5 or 0,6m each.
  18. Thierry Henry maybe? And as for the price, it pretty much depends on the competition for his signature. If Man City and / or Tottenham start a bidding war with us, I can see the price going as high as +20m but so far Marseille's asking price has been quoted at around 15m.
  19. Haha, that sounds great. I was in Amsterdam too around the time Chelsea played Ajax in 2010, but didn't get a chance to go see the game because I left town a day or two before the match. However, I did watch the World Cup final at the Museumplein, along with 200000 other people and most of them (myself included ) were high as fuck. It was an experience I will most likely remember for the rest of my life. http://theoriginalwinger.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/museumplein.jpg (a picture of the crowd, shows that there sure was a lot of people down there)
  20. Is it allowed to discuss this matter on here? After all, marijuana is illegal in most countries. But anyways, I think it should be legalized. Alcohol has been legal for ages now and I consider it to be a more dangerous drug. The politicians who decide these things see nothing wrong with alcohol but they think that weed is somehow more dangerous just because it has always been illegal during their lives, but what they don't realize is that the same alcohol they themselves consume from time to time has once been in the exact same situation. Hypocrite much?
  21. Nice. Surely that's another promising sign to indicate that we are at least looking into the possibility of signing him, Castles is not one to talk bullshit about this kind of stuff just to get attention. He also says that Man City are after him too, but no mention of Tottenham who have widely been rumoured to be the favourites to sign Remy for a long time now.
  22. Okay. If you're listening to that, be sure to keep us updated if something new comes up!
  23. RMC Sport claiming that we're after Remy. Wouldn't say no to signing him, he's class. From what I've seen, RMC Sport is a decent source for this stuff? Maybe SeB could educate us on this matter? edit: Here's a link too in case someone is interested: http://www.rmcsport.fr/editorial/294708/trois-clubs-anglais-sur-remy/
  24. I wasn't expecting us to go for him even though he is class and would improve our team but I'm still gutted he's gone to Tottenham. How long before he will be sold to Real Madrid as a part of their new special partnership? I give him two years max.
